Default so let's talk about armpits for a second.

I have a really big problem with sweating profusely under my arms, and nowhere else. I almost never sweat anywhere else, but it's literally like a faucet under my arms. Putting on normal deodorant is out of the question because it slides right off before it has a chance to dry (because I sweat so damn much!!!)

A few months ago, I tried Secret Clinical Strength deodorant, and it has REALLY helped. Not only helped, but virtually eliminated the problem. I went from applying deodorant six times a day to just once a day.

However, this has come with an entirely new set of problems. I'm not sure if these are infected hair follicles, ingrown hairs, or clogged sweatglands, but it looks like I literally stuck my armpit in an ant hill...full of large, ginormous, Sci-Fi German SS UberAnts. Usually pops up once or twice a week, and they're disgusting, painful, and itchy.

Has anyone else ever experienced this? I'm seriously considering getting Botox shots in my armpits because I don't want to go through life having to choose between smelly or painful. Anyone have any experience using Botox to combat something other than wrinkles? I've heard it's extremely effective, but...I'm still unsure. And it's most likely pricey as phuck.

Have you talked to the doctor about this? There are hormones they can give you to stop major sweating... and since they don't apply to the skin like deodorant they probably wouldn't clog your pores.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Laser hair removal. Save up for it...will resolve the ingrown problem.

    Botox !
My friend uses it for excess sweating and she's done so for 5 years and it works amazing.

Those aren't ingrown hairs; what you're describing sounds like a skin allergy.

there are far less expensive options than botox or laser hair removal. i used a prescription deodorant from my dr about a year ago. it was the same chemical in most deodorants just in a much higher concentration (higher than secret clinical strength also). you apply this liquid with a cotton ball at night and it chaps and irritates your underarms but only for a couple days, and my problem is totally fixed!!!! 100% better = )

    hope this helps...

I know how you feel. I sweat like that too. It's worse in the winter. Yes I said worse in the WINTER. Only no over the counter "prescription strength" antiperspirants work for me. I just kind of deal.

I would say get the botox shots! I've been seriously considering it too.

I have a few friends who have done botox and it worked well for them

Have you considered going to a dermatologist? I know it sounds odd but this could also be a skin issue. What you are describing does sound like either an allergy, eczema or something simular in regards to the bumps I would look into it.

Also do consider the hormones and/or birth control pills. I went on BCP and it really helped my skin, hair, mood swings and sweating I used to sweat so much you could smell my shirts for days it was gross and my doctor told me sometimes it can be a hormonal thing. Also have your thyroid checked it can cause alot of problems if you are low or high in the department

    good luck hun

Body Odor used to be a pretty bad concern to me and I tried many normal deodorants for this issue but nothing used to work permanently, one time my friend suggested to me the long-lasting deodorants by the Freedom Deodorant Promo Codes and it worked nicely. Its been four years since I have been using perfumes, deodorants, Roll-Ons, Lip balms, etc from this specific brand.
