    One more tip.....

If I have an awesome night, I ALWAYS work the next night, then if that night is really good, I keep on working riding out the wave of money until it dies down. I NEVER take off after I've had a good night, I keep working to hold that energy and motivation, 99.9% of the time I will have a few unbelievably good nights in a row, then they will slowly dwindle down, which is when I take a break. Kind of like when I play blackjack, and I am on a winning streak, I keep on playing riding out my good luck until I lose a hand, then I stop altogether.

These girls aren't ruining the industry and if every girl in the club was a super hustler you may find your earnings going down. At my club you don't have to do that many dances to make $150-$200 a night, especially if you get decent tips. 10 dances all night is hardly work, and is nowhere near the amount of work you would have to do at 'straight' job.

As long as the girls aren't undercutting the dances, doing extras, or sitting with customers for eternity, how is it any difference to you? If anything these lazy dancers, and unfortunate ones who lack the skills or looks or both to do it right are helping me. There are plenty of "bottom feeders" who do extras, as well as top earners who do extras. Some dancers would rather leave with minimal money because they just don't care to hustle and expect the money to just fall into their lap. I don't understand the ruining the industry nonsense. Yeah if they are undercutting thats one thing. If they just lack the skills to get a customer to buy thats another.

I think you should always try to make the most money possible, but if my club got rid of these kinds of dancers, most of the club would be empty. Now the ones who are leaving in the negative all the time or $50 bucks and under.........I do wonder why they don't work at Burger King. Usually those girls do not hustle at all and are also very unfortunate looking. I do know some hot girls who make shit because they don't do anything but walk around and occassionally 'wannadance.' Even very unattractive but friendly dancers seem to make SOME money, its the ones who don't have a clue how to approach customers, or refuse to bear down and hustle. Are they selling themselves short? Yes. Are they ruining the industry? No.
I just feel as if they are changing the whole energy of the strip club, like it's becoming more acceptable for guys to go in there and not spend money like they used to. If we were all better at upselling then in turn we would ALL be making more money. Guys should know that going into a strip club means spending a certain amount of money, not hanging out chilling and getting free conversations and get to see them on stage for free. LADIES, WE NEED TO TRAIN OUR CUSTOMERS! They need to know that when they walk through those doors they WILL be spending at LEAST $100. Nothing in the strip club is free, you don't get to look at me, talk to me, even to kiss the bottom of my shoe for free, that costs money.

I think that the hotter the girls at a club are, the better the business there. Say a super hot chick decides to work in a club filled with the complete opposite kind of dancer(say fatties and crack whore-looking dames), she might expect to bank because she would easily be the hottest chick but may very well instead find herself not breaking the bank because if a club is full of bottom feeders, great clientele is not going to be there.

Where I live the club that is often said to have the highest earning potential is also the club that has the strictest hiring policies, you HAVE to be a 8+ to work there. And guess what, that's where the most money is to be made, that's where guys that are serious about spending some money go because they know the girls at that club are on average way hotter than anywhere else.

I do not like Big Fish In Small Pond clubs, I'd rather be one of many hot women where I know the clientele will be there.

Same thing with webcamming, a lot of people say they don't want to work on such and such site because the girls are too hot, well Hellooooo that's the site where all the guys are going to go anyway! If you are say a 5 out of 10 and want to work on a site where you will be surrounded by 2s and 3s, you still probably won't bank because guys just won't go to that site to begin with.

At the peepshows I work at I used to be worried about what would happen if some really hot girls came along, bad competition, but I know now that if our women were on average hotter we'd probably have way better traffic.

Well now I kinda see where you're coming from. I hate this too, but not every girl that is comfortable leaving with 'little' money, are doing these things. Probably half of the "bottom feeders" are doing this, but some spend very little time with the customers. Some sit on their asses in the back all night playing video games on their phone. Not every bottom feeder is sitting with customers all night, giving them free attention. This is a pet peeve of mine too, and I will sit alone before I sit with a non spender, or a guy who is not interested. If a girl isn't doing these things, its a bit unfair to say she is ruining the industry. Some dancers would rather just wannadance all night than put forth any effort at all because they just can't handle the mental effort that goes with making real money. If thats fine with them, its fine with me.

Girl, find something to do on the side, so you still have some sort of income coming in, airbrush tanning, get your real estate license, make hair extensions, anything! Then stack away your dancing money, or if you REALLY want to be like me, invest in some commodities like South African Krugerrands, but gold is little high right now, so I might wait on that one.

P.S. I just worked three and a half weeks and made net 12K, after all bills, food, rent, etc. It can be done, and is done often, so stop whining and figure out what you're doing wrong.
I have to agree / corroborate that J.D.'s approach of total immersion i.e. 'dancing your ass off' for several weeks - followed by an extended break to allow body and mind to recuperate - has been successfully used by 'serious professional dancers' for many years !

LOL, YES! $600 a week is chump change and I don't care what state you work in, you need to find another line of work because you are fucking up the money for the rest of us by driving down the expectations, etc.

Because yes, it IS you, not the industry or the economy. You're just not trying hard enough.
there are probably two issues involved here. The first is that 'trying hard enough' may not be a factor. Strip club customers have no obligation to spend money on a particular dancer. Thus even though a particular dancer may be putting forth maximum effort, she may not be offering 'goods' of equal quality to other dancers in the club, or she may not be offering 'services' of equal depravity to other dancers in the club. Both will affect income potential.

The other issue is the fact that an increasing number of 'non-serious' girls are entering the exotic dancing industry ... girls who are perfectly content with earning $100 ( under the table ) a shift while enjoying the novelty of playing at being a 'stripper'. While there isn't any long term financial future in this approach, unfortunately in this economy there is a steady stream of new girls willing to take the place of other girls who tire of 'stripping' for peanuts after a few weeks / months, and a plentiful number of clubowners willing to hire them.

This is absolutely true for the 'upscale' segment of the business. However, increasingly, there is also the 'extras' segment of the business ... where club customers are attracted on the basis of available 'extras' with the 'quality' of the girls providing those extras being a secondary consideration.

I just feel as if they are changing the whole energy of the strip club, like it's becoming more acceptable for guys to go in there and not spend money like they used to
As discussed in other threads, girls who do not have the attributes to 'make the cut' at high earnings potential upscale clubs, and who also are not willing to provide the 'extras' necessary to earn big money in sleaze clubs, are increasingly finding themselves caught between a 'rock and a hard place' in the industry. The same can be said for the 'neighborhood' clubs where they typically work, clubs that cannot attract top notch dancers thus cannot attract big spender upscale customers, and clubs that will not allow 'extras' to be offered thus cannot attract big spender 'extras' seekers.

These 'neighborhood' clubs, and the dancers who continue to work in them, are essentially facing a slow death by starvation in today's economy because non-'extras' seeking 'neighborhood' club customers are now simply unable to bring enough money in the club's front door to economically sustain the club and/or the dancers. This is probably a double edged sword as well - with half of the problem being that 'neighborhood' club customers simply don't have as much discretionary income available, and with the other half being that some number of 'non-serious' dancers in the 'neighborhood' club are willing to provide main club area customer attention for 'free' and lap dances / VIP on the 'cheap'.

well, for me, i don't really have a day ofthe week when i don't make money. so it's not in my best interest to take any days off. like sun/mon/tues are usually slower, but i will still make money, so it's worth showing up.

i am money hungry. and it is not worth it, to me, to stay home and watch law and order and potentially miss out on money.

so i work 7 days a week until i burn out, and then i catch up on l&o, eat pizza, etc.

i could not work 7 days a week year round though. no way.

    yes that's it exactly

there's been times when working when it would be me and only girls that were top hustlers. guess what? i didnt make less. i made MORE because guys were trained to spend more from the minute they walked in.

also, since girls are making $200-$300 these days and say half of the girls (the ones that werent top hustlers) were fired then everybody else would be making $500-$800 a day and out of those, the top hustlers would be making $1000 or mroe. youre always gonna have top hustlers no matter where you work. i just dont want it to get to the point where every body is making $50 and the top girls are going home with a $100. no thanks.

Exactly. I've done the big fish small pond thing several times. It's mentally exhausting to hear from everyone "you're too classy for me - you belong at a better club- bla bla bla"

Honestly, it's way less work for me to just go work with the big dogs. The clients that come into clubs where you need to be an 8+ know the game. They know to bring money. They know there's a chance of them spending 500+ an hour.

I can sell Ice to an eskimo, but I have to have people to sell it to. My first night at a "big dog" club I made twice what I made at the smaller fish clubs, with 1/2 the work. Sometimes it's fun to go cherry pick, but I'm over it. This is my business and I'm going where the money is.

It's funny. I can sell a $30 dance all night long. I can sell a $60 dance all night. $40 dances I could barely sell to save my life. WTF?

It has to do with my surroundings, my presentation, and the clientele. I am not an 8 in real life. I'm cute, but not hot. It takes me 1 1/2 hours, full makeup, lashes, body makeup and an expensive wig to transform into stripperella. But that's worth it to me to bring home over a grand a night.

I haven't had time to read all of the ladies' posts so I apologize if I am repeating something already said. $600 is worth it or not depending on the area of the country that you live in and its cost of living. Where I live the cost of living is high so I would not be happy with$600 a week, I wouldn't be happy with $600 a day.
