Default "Dollar for my time?" - *flirty smile*

My last post about my old club reminded me of this.

In an older club where I worked, the girls all asked (and encouraged me to ask) for a $1 after talking to a customer and having him not buy an LD.

Where I work now, nobody appears to be doing this, cept for 1 girl, I heard, but only when she's drunk.

How many of you do this? Do you think it's tacky in a club where nobody else is doing it? The $ could really add up on a high-volume shift, as it did at my old club.

I feel as though I'm nice/friendly enough to get away with this, but I'm considering only doing it with guys who already have money out, or who seem like they are very friendly/like me enough (but not enough to get an LD or don't have the $).

I did this sometimes because girls are more likely to sell drinks than dances or VIP at my club. A few other girls did it, too. Depending on how much time the guy got out of the girl, she'd ask for just a dollar or as much as 5-10 if he blew off too much and made her work for nothing.

I do it sometimes. Usually when they already have singles in their hand. I'll say something like "wanna stick a little something in my garter for my time"? Usually they will say "sure" with a big smile ha.

So yeah...it just dawned on me like several hours after I made this thread that the line was "TIP for my time?"...not "dollar for my time"!

At the club I used to work at and will be going back to soon, I was taught as a newbie by one of the more experienced girls to ALWAYS ask for a dollar after a rejection. She would show her boobs for the dollar and I usually do too-my pitch is, "can I at least have a dollar for these?" It works at least 99% of the time and sometimes drunk boob-loving guys will give you larger tips.

It's a good strategy for a high-volume club because you can make a substantial amount of money just by being rejected all night, and it motivates you to stay on the floor talking to customers. It probably wouldn't be very lucrative at a less busy club or during dayshifts.

Actually I'm more of a 'sometimes'.
If I feel like I can get away with cheekily asking then I will. I work in Europe and we don't have the same tipping system, so in most cases I'll ask for a drink (for which I get €5) or if I think i have a good chance 'Well you can give me a little tip for being sweet?'

i don't, because i think it's tacky. but a lot of girls at my club do. on those nights when the club is full of customers but few get dances/rooms, it can make a gigantic different in income. i need to start. i'm not sure i'm that ballsy though.

Update: I've definitely been doing it more, but since there haven't been many customers, it hasn't amounted to that great of an increase. However, it can usually pay half of my tipout, so that's not bad!

Yeah, it does take more balls than not asking lol, but as long as you do it nicely and flirty (instead of demanding and without a smile), it isn't as bad as it seems.

I have to add that I DON'T do this to regulars in the club who don't get lapdances from me, as I never try to hustle them again (unless they all-of-a-sudden show interest). You know, those ones who always just come in to watch or who come for a specific girl and turn everyone else away.

I wouldn't do this because it could burn bridges with guys who might buy dances later in the night. I'd feel like an asshole demanding a dollar for not having done any work. They don't have to pay to say no to me!

However, I will ask for a bit of compensation if I invest some time into talking them up and they turn me down. If dances aren't their thing, they're usually more than happy to show their appreciation directly in bills.

Oh yeah, I see what you're saying. I definitely do this only if I've invested some time. If I try to sell quickly, I don't ask (and I def don't demand).

Edit: I also don't do this if they say to "come back later" (or anything along those lines).

I also take advantage of the fact that they usually don't know what a good tip for time is. So I'll say "Would you like to tip me for my time?" That way, they have to figure out the dollar amount. Sometimes it's a low amount, but sometimes they assume much higher.

I do this a lot on the weekend. If they say no I say " well Im at least hot enough for a tip right?" with a nice smile. It's kind of a self depreciating statement which mixed with the confident tone and body language that I use works very well. Im definetely hot but I guess me saying "at least" makes me seem humble and coy. anywhere from 3-10$ anytime.
