^^I disagree. Dont know the girl or where she's living, but I know a girl in my area who makes around a grand a night, often more and rarely less. It is possible. The girl just has it...

it's all about your ideas on "worth"
is a $1200 pair of manolos worth it to me? no. but to someone else? absolutely.
is spending $300 on UV reactive lace that will be made into a super poofy kimono dress worth it? not to most people. but to me? yes.
everyone has a different opinion on "worth", which is why some girls get pissed at making less than 800 a shift, and why some girls are thrilled with $100.

I think it is possible for this chick to be making an average of $1000 a night. Why wouldn't it be? Just because that kind of money-making is out of reach for a lot of people doesn't mean it is for everyone. She may be the cream of the crop as far as her(our) field goes.
What makes me kinda sick, and I see it a lot, are girls that are constantly leaving their shifts with a profit of $10, or $30, or leaving in the negative; -$10, -$30, CONSISTENTLY. And yet they won't give up stripping. How many shifts of leaving negative, while watching everyone around you doing fine, does it take for you to realize that stripping is not for you?? These girls are making less money a week than cashiers, bank tellers, Red Lobster waiters, and yet they keep stripping for PENNIES! I think in a lot of cases they are too hung up with the idea of being able to call themselves a stripper/exotic dancer/whatever.
I hate when I can't get on the schedule because it's full and I see that its partially filled up with girls that consistently make NOTHING, what a waste of space and what a waste of my time.

shasta, i laughed out loud at your post.
i dunno, the lady that posted that she makes 1000 a night has consistently said she does well since she's been posting here.
the i-make-over-$1000-a-night-no-matter-what-city-i-work-in thing is a bit suspicious, but at a home club, i can definitely see that happening if you have quality customers and a good set of sales skills.
regardless, whether she's lying or telling the truth really doesn't affect anyone on this board. so..tis the nature of the interweb.

this is catty but look at her other posts-- she is a 'semi clean dancer' i.e. she will do handjobs for the right price (her words, not mine). so take it with a grain of salt.

The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

It depends on the girl... if she's just stripping for fun or to socialize, just ask them if they have room for one more. I had to do this to make money when we had a foreign girl who wasn't really interested in making money, so I'd just politely ask to join in. She'd even tell me to ask the guys for dances, because she wasn't going to.
Your typical stripper though... I would not use this approach.
On my way to being the Bitch Goddess of your dreams... or nightmares.

Banking for me is about $300+ in a night. My minimum goal is $150 after tipout.
Why am I okay with that? Well, try finding a job that will pay that much in an 8 hour shift without a college education. Even $100/night after tipout is better than minimum wage, and a helluva lot more fun.

I don't think it's degrading. For me it's just one of those jobs that's associated with good money, like being a doctor, or lawyer. Nobody expects doctors to work for minimum wage.
Now I am not saying that I am anything like a doctor of courseit's just that in my head stripping = $$$ and I think it's the same for everybody else that got started in this industry. I don't think anyone ever told themselves "well i sure like being naked and i hear that the Pink Taco (or whatever name of strip club) is hiring and supposedly those girls make like $8 whole bucks an hour. I'm gonna apply there!"

My home club is $30 VIP dances only (as standard set by the girls). Making $1,000 for a six hour shift is an average of $170-ish an hour, which is about six dances. All you have to do is give six dances an hour to make $1,000 which should not be hard for anyone that knows how to hustle a decently busy club.
I also work in Vegas, Miami, and Chicago, all of which clubs are busy and easy to get at least six dances an hour.

Just a thought, but:
One would consider that in a recession there's less money to go around and people would presumably be more "desperate" for money, thus making the "Banking Amount" higher.
Say in a good economy, where money is less scarce, $600 might be "banking." As to where in a shitty economy where people need the money, $800 might be "banking."
Depending on the economy, the individual, the the club and the amount they consider "banking" it could be an inverse relationship as opposed to the more obvious direct relationship...
Don't really know what I was trying to say there...But it largely depends on the club and the girl's work ethic.

I've only felt like I've banked on a few of my best nights ( $800-$900 ). Still haven't joined g club.
I'm ok with $300ish ( I hustle hard and almost never leave below this ).
I feel better with $400 to $550 ( sonetimes work 10 hours to try to hit this mark ).
I'd have to sell something like 75 dances a night to make $1000.
Considering that we have to go on stage, I work in a dive club (i.e. not a hell of a lot of customers), our club is only open for 7-8 horus a night, we don't have any rooms to upsell (we actually make less per song in our champagne room), and each dance costs $20 (we get $14 out of every dance)...yeah...almost impossible.
I consider it a good night when I make over $100 an hour. However, when I feel disappointed about only making $200 - $300 in a 5 hour shift, I remind myself that that is still $40 - $60 an hour.

^ I have evil thoughts like that every now and then as well... Being moral sucks sometimes.

Not to mention the law and potential for diseases...
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Some ladies bring gloves to work....heh.
::shudders::

wel, i, for one, appreciate this lady's honesty. she is making lots of money because she is giving hand jobs. so no one feel bad if her income is a bit higher.
