Oh good, so it IS my club. I just started working in Toronto and haven't been doing well, and I was suspecting that it's more where I was working than what I was doing. I guess I'll hop around for the next 2 months, and find out for sure if it's me or just this club....

Ahh okay off topic but stuff about the peepshow...

The peepshow is fun but it can be very frustrating. Having a timed booth sucks, you MUST leave after an hour, even if it gets busy. My best night ever was $175 in the booth and I did stage so I made $200 total in 4 hours. So there are few opportunities to "bank".

We had speakers but someone spilled their drink on the intercom.

We get plenty of guys who just hang out. We get guys who watch the girl in the private booth and don't buy a show, they just look at her in her lingerie, and they won't leave until support staff bother them. I get several of these a day, and it sucks because we have no cover AND they block the view from potential costumers. I've also had these guys try to jerk off in the hallway.
The new phenomenon are the quick-cum guys. They buy a $10 show (2 minutes) which only get the dancer naked, and maybe she'll do dirty talk and upsell, and they just beat themselves to death. I guess it's how the get more bang for their buck.

Just saying, it's fun but can be a challenge some days.

Ok now I'm calling B.S. too.

I know girls here in Vegas who good sales people and they are completely perfect looking. I'm talking about girls who can work any shift at any club in the city. Even they are not making anywhere near a consistent $1,000 per shift.... get real!

I have never met anyone who banks consistently for an extended period of time; unless they have a pimp working at the club as a bouncer. In this case they will be hooked up with the big spenders right when they walk in the door before any other girls even have a chance to try to make a sale.

To me banking is anything over $500.

Most companies will do employer mandated credit report checks for any job applicant. A lot of people now days can't get a job simply because they have been the victim of loan sharking, identity theft or they had to go to the emergency room for medical care. There are people who are doing this because it's all they can get. Some of these people actually do have good experience, education and skills that have nothing to do with stripping.

Another reason why less guys want to walk into a stripclub: the dancers are bloodthirsty vultures that harass the guys to death and girls forcing themselves upon guys that don't want them.

This is true too. It really depends on the club though. I was in a club where I HAD to work like this or else I wouldn't make decent money. I made good money for sure(before I quit), but that shit got tiring & my mental health was taking a toll. So glad I left that place. I can't work like that!

Yeah, banking to me is anything beyond my averages, which range from $200 well up. I have been witness to some girls making a g or close to it, it all has to do with: the customer and how you present the sale. True, extra's seem to have taken the place of true entertaining in some places, but there are those clubs that men go to that don't expect some shoddy BJ. I worked 2 nights at a sports bar and i'll be damned if I have to compete with ESPN for a man's attention. No.

My expectations are realistic and I don't delude myself into thinking everyday is a gold mine, because it isn't. I make what I need at that current time for whatever it is I need to pay for, whether it be rent, food, travel or whatever else. I'm fortunate to where I'm not down and desperate, though some days it may feel like it. The worst time, for me personally, is when rent is due and a tidal wave of girls come in.

Every club/customer/dancer is different and averages depend on your area and the type of clientele your club caters to

I actually have two separate banking standards because I'm in Cocoa Beach, Florida and it is extremely seasonal here. My minimum acceptable daily average for working five to six hours at a topless, medium contact club with no real VIP or Champagne rooms is 200 a night regardless of season. If I'm not averaging that at least by the end of the month, I start looking at my other options. I actually just switched to a new club because of this. But having said all that, during the busy times I consider banking to be 600 and up. During slow times it's 400 and up. I know that's low to a lot of you but not having a champagne room or anything like that really hurts me sometimes. But I've been dancing now for a bit over a year and every month I get better so maybe a year from now I'll have different standards. I really ought to try selling blocks of time more often.

    Hey, Charlie!

For practical advice for your club situation, I'd advise having a lawyer on retainer to protect your future interests. I say that in neutral terms, not being flippant at all. If you can afford to do that, you can safeguard against being caught up in the event of a surprise raid where all of the dancers are held under suspicion.

Hm. depends for me. Some nights i'll go home with $200 but think it was a good night because i had a good time and it was fun (had fun conversations/whatever). Frankly, i am satisfied with anything over $300, and very happy with anything over $400.

Some nights I make $0, some nights I make 2k, average $650 or so. So I don't get excited when I make 1,000 in a night cause that's what I expect.
Its a lot harder to make that money in clubs where $500/hr CRs aren't an option or if they are, its a rare sale.
I've noticed a few girls leave my club lately though, even though I thought the money's been fine. The volume of customers has certainly gone down, so perhaps I've just been lucky to find the big spenders.

And yes the nights of $0 are sometimes sheer laziness on my part, but sometimes there's just too many girls versus customers. It only takes 1 guy to make your night, but sometimes that 1 guy just isn't there. I take those nights with a grain of salt and am thankful for the good nights.
I think we're in a bubble. I'm pissed if I leave with less than $500 after tip outs, and aim for no less than $2000/week. I'm a really fucking new dancer, but I've averaged slightly more than $800/night for the last two months. There's no fucking way I could make that money outside of Manhattan.

Banking is a relative term. I wouldn't get excited unless I made Atleast 800 because I expect that especially on a weekend night. Doing really good is atleast 7/800 banking 1K+. But it also depends on how many hrs it took to get the money. I would rather work 5 OR 6 hours for 800 then work long shifts 10+ hours and having to wait around to make a G.

depends really. the only time i would ever feel happy about 100 was if it was a really bad night with lots of girls to no customers and all the other girls were making less than 50. it all depends on circumstances and personal best i think. that being said i dont think 100 is banking anywhere and i think the girls who should leave the industry are those that sit around with customers without being paid having a friendly conversation coz theyre bored and not doing it to build regulars etc thus preventing other girls from making money off them and having men grow accustomed to girls hanging off him for free and sitting with him the whole night.... how can we charge him for the same thing after that?
