    Mind Blowing Newbie from Dallas

    Hello!!
I started doing research about stripping, dancing ant etc and thas how I found this forum. I think its great! Specially for newbies like me and such.. anyway. I been reading a lot of the threads in the newbie forum as well as in the other categories. But I still have some questions and well lack of confidence. lol

Im 27 yrs old, and I had a baby a year ago, I lost most of my baby weight Im working on toned and learning how to dance.. I applied at a dive, yeah straight up dive. The place is kind of new too so the traffic is really slow.. I think Dallas supposed to ask for a background check and finger prints, well this place just took me right in.. The girls there were awful looking and attitude. Anyway I took it for what it was worth, a learning experience. I really need the money so Im ready to get out an adventure off to a "real" club, so I can get more chance at making some money. I thought about going to babydolls, but Im not sure.. is really bright to me for a stripclub, and well that kind of intimidating to me since Im still a bit rusty on my moves and stuff. How can I get in the groove of things? Or should I try another club?

Another thing.. once you start talking to a customer.. what do you say when they keep asking for your number?

All help will be appreciated. I been looking at some youtube vids that some of you ladies suggested in other threads. Hope that works to bust my confidence.

    Hi Carm3n,

I'm also based in Dallas. New club, slow traffic, I have an idea of what club you are working at...and it is ILLEGAL for them to allow you to work without your BioVerify. Any club that bends MAJOR rule will probably bend others as well. You need to ask yourself if this is the kind of environment you want to work in.

Welcome to SW! Listen closely to the advice of Britney... you don't want to end up in trouble.

There's tons of dancers on here from Dallas that I'm sure you'll get to meet in person.

On the phone number, I just tell them no. In many cities it's against the law, and you can tell customers that, and then say "You wouldn't want me to lose my job would you?". Check your local laws though and if you aren't sure, call the local sheriff or head detective to ask. Managers sometimes are not honest about the laws or ignorant of them, so check them out for yourself.

You will get over being nervous eventually, until then just play it off like you know what you are doing. Some girls are very scared of bright lights on the stages. Iv seen your pics on myspace and you do not need to be one of those girls. If you are worried about little imperfections like stretchmarks and cellulite, and I didnt see any on you, you can use Sally Hansens temporary tan spray. After you use it, spray a little hairspray over your body so it will stick better.

If you decide to go to baby dolls, PM me and let me know how it goes.
