couldnt agree more
or my all time favorite-- two bit pot dealer who thinks that he is like a major hustler and has like maybe 5$? and then borrows a few extra bucks from his girlfriend to buy more pot to sell, but then smokes all of it.
or the housemates who dont have rent because they are always baked. and dont clean up after themselves.
yea i liked pot a lot more before i actually became a semi responsible human being. i became very disenchanted with the stoner 'subculture' after i started stripping.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.
Dude not all stoners are broke lazy asses.![]()
"Every experience is a lesson. Every loss is a gain."
^That's what she's saying, I think.![]()
Get the fuck off my harbl, yo'.
Couldn't agree with you more! When I first got into the scene I wanted to be friends with all my stoner friends because I assumed they were all cool and secure with themselves. After a couple months I started weeding out the guys who mooch off their moms and live like spoiled kids, and the lazy ones that just want to watch shitty cartoons all day (don't get me wrong, I love cartoons, but I have standards). Then I quit completely because of anxiety, but I'm considering taking it up occasionally again.

yea i have no issue with recreational marijuana use, and from time to time i will partake... although very very rarely these days.
but those who make pot THE priority in their lifestyle? Lame....

Why is pot illegal when alcohol is not?

Ugh, I feel ya. Last night was hanging out with the guy I'm seeing and his two friends....all potheads, but gainfully employed at least. I was really tired so I went to bed. They were getting stoned and drinking and talking SO LOUD about the stupidest shit. I should have taped them so they could hear how innane and retarded their conversation was. Needless to say, I didn't actually get to sleep until they left.
Pot heads are on my shit list right now.
Totally with you on this one.
I can't believe I used to think a bunch of losers playing video games in an apartment filled with weed smoke was cool. Errr I wouldn't even be able to stand being in a place like that now!

Mmmmmm........pot.........

I'm a pothead.
That said I pay for my stuff (rent, food, bills...then weed), work on a somewhat regular basis and don't depend on government cheques. I own a well maintained car, feed my dogs and am generally a responsible person.
What I hate is mooches. There is one guy that I did start dating who was constantly wanting to smoke from my stash. I called him out on it last week and have not heard from him since.

Mr. Hyde IS a mister lol!
I don't like stereotypical potheads either. I've smoked/eaten it a few times....I don't care for it.
My father however is a total lifelong wake n' baker.

Stoners don't usually cause too many problems, however they do seem to spend alot of time explaining often in excruciating detail all the things they are going to do, invariably the same things they end up never doing.
Imagine if NASA during the moonshot had been staffed by a bunch of stoners, we would still be sitting on the launch pad 40 yrs later, assuming we even got the rocket built

I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

ummm threadjack but I seriously hope you are joking.
Mr. Hyde I agree. It pisses me off because my husband hates it when I smoke pot because he thinks everyone who does becomes an addicted stoner. Its no secret I like to partake in the recreational drug department... but I can exhibit restraint easily. When it comes to pot I feel like I gotta keep it a secret or he'll freak even though I hardly ever smoke it. I've had some sitting here for 2 weeks and haven't touched it (although I did touch some that I smoked at someone elses house LOL). I actually think a few drugs could be legal. Monitoring by government seems like it would ensure better quality, education and more control.

i used to be the biggest stoner...i've pretty much stopped smoking, but it never hindered anything i did. in fact i can't count the number of papers i've written (not creative writing either) high and received top grades. i know a few other stoners like this, but i believe they're a special, rare bunch.
however, i know a bunch of stoners who talk about all the things they're gonna do and haven't done jack shit. and interesting tidbit of info, you know those commercials about staying away for weed and how it's a gateway drug...the top funders of that campaign are the alcohol and cig companies.

I think it's the dealer crowd you run into that provide the gateway to the unsuspecting, not so much the drug itself except for the high-risk taking crowd. The government is not going to control its quality if they were ever to legalize it any more than they guarantee the quality of tobacco. Though I have never smoked weed ot any other illegal substance, nor do I support its widespread use, my understanding is that it's sort of between alcohol and tobacco in its deleterious effects. Not that I condone much use of those either. All these substances steal from your health and potential.

you're right about why it's a gateway drug. because it's on the black market people are more likely to be exposed to other more hardcore drugs, however if it was legalized the likelihood of it being a gateway drug would be lessened. also, studies have shown that weed is really isn't a health risk like alcohol or tobacco. there is no evidence of any one ever overdosing on weed. personally i think alcohol is a much more dangerous drug than weed could ever be, same with cigarettes.
in california, for example weed is the number one cash crop generating billions of dollars, all of which could be taxable and really help with our economy. i'd go into more detail but i just woke up so i will add later to those who don't agree with this.

Yeah the potheads that just make pot the priority...creep me out. They act like hard asses around here and honestly if it came down to it they wouldn't even get into a fight because they are too concerned with smoking more. It's too much lol. Recreational use cool whatever no biggie...but if it is more than that...naw I'm good, I'll be stayin' away.

Any smoking material is dangerous to lungs etc. but probably similar to tobacco. I've heard it's dangerous to smoke and drive etc. But it's also dangerous to drive sleepy.

Not similar to tobacco. Both will gunk up your lungs, but generally manufactured cigarettes have worse stuff in them, especially if your weed is from a reputable source. Tobacco gives you cancer, whereas THC actually halts the growth of cancer cells. Also tobacco constricts the bronchial passages whereas THC dilates them. That choking cough that people always have when they spark a joint is from your bronchial passages expanding.
Its debatable whether its dangerous to smoke and drive. A couple studies show that it makes no difference, and many studies show that stoned people tend to be more cautious drivers because they are aware of their impairment. Also some people can handle it better than others. Pro-legalization organizations discourage it.
