Default Great mall store for 'cocktail' stripper dresses!

So I've been buying my work clothes at the local dancewear shop for a while. I've been thinking lately, "is it just me or is this shit kinda overpriced?" Flimsy material, single-stitched... the main advantage of the stuff is that it's easy to take off and put on, and is very stripper-specific.

I hesitate to buy outfits online w/out having tried them on 1st, as I have a big butt & small boobs and lots of things just don't fit me right.

Also I've ordered stripper outfits that look fine online but when I get em in the mail I wear em once, they fucking rip/break, or just feel poorly made/fitted, and in the trash it goes

I found this store called Deb in the mall:

    http://www.debshops.com/family/index...371585.3365393

It has nice cocktail dresses from $25-$50 that are finger-length (that's a rule at my club), while the small selection of cocktail dresses at the local dancewear shop are hit or miss in terms of quality, generally too short, and a bit more expensive (often $60).

They've always got fun bra and panty sets too. I send girls over there for photoshoot apparel sometimes.

What is kind of gross is that this store's target audience is the pre-teen/young teen age group.

When strippers are shopping alongside teens shopping for their 8th grade dance outfit, that's a problem.

^^I've been thinking the same thing lately. I went to the mall yesterday and say a tween wearing what I swear was or could be a stripper skirt! More like a belt, really.

I am worried for my daughter...

Not really; the dresses at that store are a lot more 'conservative' than the dresses most strippers wear at an average club (I mean they go down to or past the fingertips, most teens wear shorter stuff than that anyway), plus they aren't made of flimsy/see-through material, don't plunge very low, etc. Really I think the style at my club is trying to mimic "classy"/"going out on the town"/"cocktail" style, moreso than this store is in any way trying to mimic "stripper" style

Well, also you've got to consider that most strippers are much more voluptuous than a 12 year old. A little black dress on an 8th grader looks a hell of a lot less sexual than the same dress on a fully grown and developed woman. These dresses are going to look a lot sexier on us, due to the fact that they'll appear shorter (as we're taller) and tighter, which shows off a grown woman's 'assests'.

haha i used to go to the mall for stripper dresses, usually to charlotte russe. although its funny, last time i took a trip there charlotte russe didnt have any stripper dresses and i was like what? have civillian women finally decided that looking like strippers is out of fashion? but guess not-- good to know there are still cheap places to buy stripper clothes lol.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

If you have a couple of pieces you absolutely love and they fit you right it would be much cheaper to recreate them and sew them yourself or have someone you know do it. Seriously a top or bottom they charge $20 cost them $3 wholesale at the most.
