Don't you ever get bad nights where you make nothing?
& You doubt you'd be making anything again?
That's how I feel, cos I had my first bad night last week.
Havin another shift tomorrow, so I hope I'll have a good night
Goodluck to me![]()

Everyone has bad nights. Sometimes it's the dancer's fault and sometimes it's not. Just go in and keep hustling. If you see that you are working hard and it's more bad than good it may be time to switch clubs.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Stay as positive as you can huni, things happen. We all have to take the good with the bad.![]()
I've had those nights hun, it gets better! Sometimes things can be going just fine, and you're working the same as always, and yet you just don't find the guys, or its just quiet, or you're just in a shitty mood, and you make nothing. I've had a couple of shifts like that and I drove home in tears, but yknow what? The next shift, and seeing that I CAN make good money at the club, made it ok.

The day I come home with not even a dollar is the day I quit dancing.

Shit happens. Pick yourself up, dust your derriere off and remember Scarlett O'Hara: "Tomorrow is another day"
"Fake tits are like Kevlar. They don't guarantee your chances of survival but they sure as hell improve it."
Tempest
I've definitely had this happen! Even if the night wasn't technically "bad," per se, if it was less than I was used to making, it got me all stressed out that I'd never be making the same amount that I used to make again!
The key is to think rationally and realize that bad nights are going to happen. Like Kylea said, sometimes it's the dancer's fault, sometimes it's not. If it's your fault, try and learn from your mistakes. If it's not, concentrate on your averages. I personally think it's really hard to know, at times, if it's "your fault," bc there are so many factors that go into what type of shift that you have (which is another reason that weekly and/or monthly averages can give you a better idea of how you are doing). I mean, sometimes it's obvious if it's your fault, such as if you're in the dressing room all night on your phone or complaining and not putting forth effort. Other times, it's as simple as bad timing. I really think that timing really HAS made a difference on certain shifts, as I will get to customers "right before they walk out the door," "after they've warmed up with a drink or two," or "right before they leave because they realized that their regular favorite girl wasn't there, but they would rather try out a different girl that approached them instead of leaving without spending any $$$."
This is a bad frame of mind to be in. It can ruin your hustle the next time you work bc you will be thinking negatively. Please try to realize that 1 bad night isn't the end all.
Personally, this frame of mind has contributed, in the past, to MUCH anxiety about working - so much to the point that I didn't go into work bc I was worried that I'd do poorly. Of course, avoiding the problem only made it worse, as I spend more time out of work with less money and more anxiety.
Good luck, girl!

You're right everyone, Ima take it like a man...
Rawwwwwwrr!!![]()

Well okay, I didn't come home with literally nothing.
I made a tiny bit off tips for the whole night, and I got some off the club cos I was on retainer.
So it wasn't all loss![]()
Aw I hate that feeling..but like everyone else said, its what you're averaging that's important! I had a night like that sunday and realized I was totally burned out and just needed a few days off![]()

It's important to keep track of your hours worked and average profit a night.
Start a file if you haven't- it's Very useful!

Also, you're gonna have some weeks where you get like... 3 bad night in a row. DON'T let it ruin your attitude. Looking sad/bored/desperate never, ever attracts customers and usually make it worse so smile through the pain!![]()
Yeah, the adverage is what's important.

Thanks ALOT girlies.
Last night turned out to be pretty good.
I have found my motivation to work again.
