    Default Girls goth clothes.

I have a fun side project. A guy I work with is working on a movie, directing it in fact. It will be a small budget comedy and thats all I can give away yet.

The main character wears mainly clothes from the 80's and as a counter point he has a sister that is the sharp witted droll goth girl. My friend has asked me if I would help him out. The actress needs her costume which needs to be goth but not offensive to family. He can't take the actress shopping because his Wife will flip the hell out.

So I was going with a punk vampire slayer goth look. Black and red with lots of buckles and straps. With a few witty and sarcastic shirts or band shirts.

Its a costume and it doesn't need to be normal. The actress says she is going to dye her hair jet black and maybe get it cut like wednesday adams.

What would you ladies suggest. Deviant away!

You can buy decent black wigs for really cheap from a hair store. Don't have the actress dye her hair! A black bob with bangs of any length would be great.

You can also send the actress shopping over at Rave's Oh My Goth in Denver. There's another goth shop up there on Broadway, but I don't recall the name. Also, on Tejon (I believe) there's a goth shop - right across from the park on the south side.

The fact that there is a store anywhere out there called Oh My GOth is hilarious and awesome.

For your character I would suggest short (but not scandalously short)skirts with striped tights and combat boots. And I agree that she should think twice about dyeing her hair black, even semi-permanent black dye is hard to get rid of.

Thank you for the replies. She volunteered. Its not a big movie but it is an acting credit.

Oh my Goth! That is funny!
