Default Dancing At A Club Where Patrons Were of a Different Race

So I'm African American and I'm thinking about trying to work at a majority white club. Has anyone ever tried something like this? (Dancers of all race welcome to reply

I've noticed in general that it's easier for a white dancer to make money at a black club than it is a black dancer at a white club. Not to say it can't happen, just that's harder. In general I've often seen the AA girls were usually hotter than most of the white girls at white clubs, to compete. Sadly, when I ran an agency, black customers often either didn't care what race they got, or preferred white girls, whereas white customers almost always requested white girls (often blonde). It's a sick stereotype.

Having said that, I never worked in a black club, but was asked repeatedly to dance there. It was in a bad area so I never did.

Wow, this is something that I already kind of knew would be an issue but from reading another thread where a girl mentioned "looking exotic" helped a lot. I'm hoping I'll be okay because I have long hair, grey eyes and I'm slim and already like 5'9" barefoot. Sheesh, it's nerve wrecking. I'd hate to get hired but then not make money

you should do fine. I worked in a primarily white club in georgia, and often was turned down because "they came in for the chocolate".

I think this can go two different ways... the difference being how common your race is where they live and how much money they have.

I've danced in areas where the clientele was primarily not white, but there were white girls around. Most of the dancers were dark skinned and dark hair with the exception of one other girl who had a poor attitude. The guys had money and I banked off them. Most of them couldn't speak English and probably wouldn't be able to date many white women because of the language barrier. However, they knew how to give me their money!

I've also been in clubs where I was pretty much the only fair skinned blonde, and the town didn't have a lot of white girls. Their clients were primarily Hispanic and didn't have much money. At that point I was a novelty, but since they didn't have money to spend they would just try to get me to go out on dates.

o ok. the only reason I wanted to dance at a majority or mixed club is because I don't like a lot of what I see in the "black" clubs. I'm not the girl that wants to get on stage and just shake her ass all night. I'd rather be creative, and dress up, really get into the fantasy & i just don't think they'd be too receptive because they're too busy asking me to make my ass clap

Sounds like you'll do fine to me But of course the area and type of custys does matter, as was mentioned before. I'm half black, and i find the whole "exotic" thing really can work very well, most people cant tell exactly what race I am, and that has helped me at a lot of majority white clubs.

i'm black and bank with the country white boys b/c to them, i'm "exotic" to them, but i have also banked at the "black" club i worked at for a bit. point is, dont worry too much about race, just hustle and you'll get the $$

yeah when i was asking around on tuscl they told me that the club was normally 30-40% ethnic, which isn't bad compared to the other "white" clubs in the city. Plus when I looked at some pics online, not to be conceited, but I know DAMN well I look better than a lot of those girls lol

In Missouri I worked at clubs where the clientele was all white guys and I did awesome. It took a few weeks, but it was good $$$$. New Orleans was a mixed bag, as was Florida. There was so much diversity there. In El Paso, when the army boys get paid, I'm usually there.

Right now im working at a predominately white club and I have no problems making money. Most of my customers are older white men who have never been with a black woman before so its like a fantasy come true for them.

When I worked in Fargo on a six day contract, there was not a single Black customer (I'm Black) but there were often at least two other black girls and sometimes as much as 4 others in a club with 6-15 dancers on any given night. I loved it there and was happy with the welcome, hearty reception I received.

Most every other club I have worked in is a decent mix of all ethnicities, customer-wise, with a pretty good mix of dancers. The majority of my customers tend to be white, hispanic, then filipino...with a few Black guys who just find something they like above the majority who tend to pass over me. You win some, you lose some!

I wouldn't worry about being the 'only' or the 'few' of any thing in a club. Carve out your niche!

    Majority white dancers or custys?

I live in Vegas and I didn't know till I moved here 6 months ago that the strip club industry here is NOT African American dancer friendly. It's totally stupid! The few African American dancers at my club are ALWAYS busy w/ custys ... while lots of attractive white dancers sit on the side. That says a lot!

A lot of white men/custys LOVE exotic (African American, Asian, etc.). One would think club owners would know this and have a wide variety of dancers ... but nope ... well not here ... it's sad.

Anyway ... I think you'll do fantastic! Good Luck!

I think then you're gonna do very well in a white club, especially with older men. They love sophisticated looking black girls. total fantasy..

thanks you guys! it makes a whole lot of sense. I think it may help that I'm also attracted to white guys, hell my last boyfriend was white lol. I talked to him and his friends about what they thought a lot and have heard a few talk about what they DO like about black girls. (They were younger, college aged guys) I'll use that stuff to my advantage

I should mention that in El Paso Hispanic (or hispanic looking) girls are as thick as fleas on a dog's belly. White girls and African american girls do VERY well in Chuco town.

I dance at a majority white club and I do just fine. I'm tiny with a very round butt so all guys love that evry race! Lol but occasionally I do get the feeling I've been turned down because of my race but VERY RARELY but guys are never rude about it. Once I had a guy flat out say I can't buy a dance from you because your black, but the funniest thing is that the guy he came with is white and he regularly comes in to see me and only me because he likes black women, and sadly he talks shit about white woman....maybe some chick broke his heart? Or maybe its just a preference, but for the most part you'll be a fantasy or fetish...its funny though because almost every night I have at least 2 white guys tell me I'm the prettiest girl in the club and its not bcuz of a fetish, just a fact.

It depends on YOU and it depends on THE CLUB. I'm Black, big ass dope ass body, and I don't make that much working in black clubs. I do ok on gp, just cause of the ass, but I don't like to just stand on stage a clap my ass either. However, I went to Alanta an needed a trash bag for all the money I made working in black clubs down there.

I love a diverse white club. Yes a white club can be diverse. You have the rockers, the barbies, the white girl that thinks she's black and so on. I love that shit! I do well there, and if you have the right attutde you can do well there too.

At the same time there are white clubs you can go to and be hotter than half the bitches there and make no money. I worked in a club where I saw some gross, teeth missing, fucked up hair bank. I left with 100 dollars. I'm not saying I'm Trya or anything but I know I look better than that.

At the same time there are clubs that don't hire black girls. Like a dumb ass, I've been trying to get hired at pt's in sauget il for years, but they just won't do it. I hate St. louis!

Do you think they won't hire you because of your body type? I find that I always get hired, like recently I auditioned for hustler and I seen about four or five other black girls audition and I was the only one they hired! Lol maybe it had something to do with the fact that I'm a size 2? Some black girls also just have a universal appeal which a lot of black girls don't have meaning all races of men would be sexually attracted regardless the circumstances, where as a lot of black chicks just don't have those features to appeal to all races,I often hear "wow,I have never been attracted to a black woman, but you are beautiful/and or the first.

i'm not really skeptical about my body type at all because to me I don't think I have the "average black girl body" I'm a lot taller than most and I'm slender but I still have my curves. i was just worried about being turned down just because of my skin color. I had heard recently that one of the biggest clubs in the city was no longer hiring black girls because they "brought drugs into the club and caused problems" but i'm not sure how true that is.

Unfortunately black girls always run the risk of being rejected on race alone..but you never know until you try! I say audition anywhere you want to and just go for it. The clubs that you thought would be racist just may hire you..and if they don't, screw em theres tons of clubs out there that will hire hot curvy black girls
