I can't believe Dio is gone either. He was so talented. I don't know what to say. I'm gonna play "Holy Diver" tomorrow. RIP my brother.

Yeah, totally sucks. It's like all the greats die. Dio was up there with Midnight from Crimson Glory in being the best singers EVER in the genre.

At least he didn't die at 28 from OD, choking on puke from being a drunk and passing out, or some other f'ed up passing and we got to experience his awesomeness.

He lived a long life at 67 and fought the good fight, now he rest free from suffering.

    Dio forever!

I couldn't figure out why my husband was so very quiet when he called me on Sunday afternoon...he's a professional rock musician and adored Ronnie James Dio........

A very sad loss to rock music indeed.

Very sad to see him pass away. I was lucky enough to have seen him perform with Black Sabbath. Was definitely a very memorable performance.

I must live under a rock, I hadn't heard. He was great, Rainbow in the Dark is one of my favorite songs. His grandmother inspired the classic devil horns hand sign, the signature of metal.
