    Default Orange hands

Is there any way to kill the dreaded sunless tan hands??????

I know i should have worn gloves but figuring if i washed my hands as soon as i was done it would work (as says container). Nope. Tan palms. UGh!
But on the plus side the tanner has gave me a really nice believable tan where it counts.

So clue me in on getting my palms back to norm!

I believe vinegar does this as well, but look online.

I haven't tried it, but I've heard whitening toothpaste can help.

Acetone nail polish remover- yes, harsh on skin, but ultimately will do the job if all else fails- I'd try the other suggestions first though lol!

Vinegar and Nail polish remover (hydrogen peroxide) are the 2 seemingly answers to it.

Gonna give them a shot. Luckily it ain't bad, just tanner palms... hope they work!

I've tried alcohol (on my hands...not down my throat!), baking soda, toothpaste, pumice stone, vinegar, washing powder, nail varnish remover....even paint stripper, and I still had orange hands!

The only foolproof way, if you have to use self-tan, is latex surgical gloves....and wash those before you remove them too.

Amazingly nail polish remover lightened it enough to make it unnoticeable. Not gone but light enough that its hard to tell unless you really look. It'll do.
    So thanks ladies.

I might have to get one of those stones.
After i put it on my body i wash my hands with soap and one of my acne scrubs that kinda harsh. Takes it most off and then i go over my hands with nail polish remover and i'm pretty much back to normal.

The only thing that sucks now is that my body is a great color and my face isnt (without makeup & my powder bronzer that is). Its rather funny actually. But i'm afraid to put my self tanner on my face. Its for all over but i just know my pores will suck that stuff right up and it'll look like crap (not to mention my skin isn't even close to perfect). Oh well. Thank god for bronzer!

Fake tan doesn't take too well one your face. It is better to get one with more dha and formulated for your skin. If you think that the tanner will seep into your pores get a gradual face tanner and try it out. I fake tan to REALLY dark and my face is always super pale compared to my body. It is annoying. Oh, use a wash-off tanner! I used that today because I didn't want to wear makeup and I didn't look like a freak. The stone works really well. The only reason why the nail polish remover/alcohol is working is because it dries your skin out. Those two in combination will be perfect. After you tan and wash your hands just rub your DRY hands on the back of your arm to tan the top of your hands. Either that or use a makeup sponge to apply to the top of your hands.

Did you try the vinegar? I believe the gal that spray tanned me told me to soak my feet in that at one point.

Oh..another thing to prevent it in the future. I know that is a british link, but they have to have them in the states. Just make sure you use it on the right side! The first time that I used mine I thought it was a piece of crap, but someone at work showed me the right side a few days ago.
