here's one from my 'adopted' country ...

750ml bottle of Spanish red wine ( any brand made from tempranillo grapes )
375ml Cachaca rum ( white rum made from cane sugar )
    125ml Jarabe ( liquid cane sugar )
    250ml Naranja ( orange liqueur )
    1 thin sliced lemon
    1 thin sliced lime
    1 thin sliced orange

these will knock your calcetines off !

Sounds like a killer recipe. I have to convert it from ml

I assume this is best let overnight to pick up the fruit flavors?

yes ... and if you really want to be a purist, don't add the Jarabe or Naranja until you take the pitcher out of the fridge the next day. This allows the alcohol to 'ferment' the fruit slices overnight without a whole lot of sugar slowing down the chemical reaction !!!

Good luck finding all of these 'south of the border' ingredients in Boston, though !

PS daniella_maria white calcitenes don't cut it in Boston - red calcitenes only LOL !!!

    Red Sangria
    Can of sprite
    Sliced citrus fruits
Put ice in a plastic bag so it doesn't water down the sangria.
