Default Money potential and escorting and other questions

Hey ladies, haven't really posted in this section much before but I've done plenty of lurking. I'm not seriously considering escorting at this point because I'm in a relationship and my SO doesn't want me to do that. However, things can change and there was a point where he didn't even want me to dance (LOL) so I figured I'd ask some questions!

I read about screening clients and it seems easy enough if you use your head, so I don't really have many questions about that.

1.) If you work through an agency what % of your donation do they take?
2.) Is the safety of working through an agency worth the lost income potential?
3.) Do you keep an attorney on retainer?
4.) Do you always tell someone where you are going and the name of the client? Or is that considering invading their privacy? (If you work as an independent).
5.) Do hotels ever question why you have so many guests? Doesn't that leave room for them calling the police?
6.) Is a $300/hour donation too much for a new, young escort?
7.) Is it stupid that I would rather not waste my time with half hour appointments?
8.) How many appointments do you try to book a week?
9.) I've read about escorts doing overnight appointments with customers for a large fee...this seems dangerous...is this advisable?
10.) How do you contact an agency?

    Thanks!

1.) If you work through an agency what % of your donation do they take? usually 40%

2.) Is the safety of working through an agency worth the lost income potential? it depends on the agency, some agencies keep you busier than you could be on your own, also it depends on how you screen you clients when you work individually, i think working with an agency is good when you're outside of your home market, but if you are really organized you can do everything theyre doing for you alone.

3.) Do you keep an attorney on retainer? no, i don't
4.) Do you always tell someone where you are going and the name of the client? Or is that considering invading their privacy? (If you work as an independent). I don't always, but usually I go with someone on my calls, its fun to ride with a friend, and sometimes we can get a 2 girl special, sometimes I do incalls and then usually I text someone that I'm about to do a call if its a new client. but not usually. But as a beginner I can see that you would want to do that.
5.) Do hotels ever question why you have so many guests? Doesn't that leave room for them calling the police? No, because the guys dont usually have to check in with the front desk, you have to be discreet around the housekeeping, sometimes they don't care but sometimes they'll snitch on you, but the worst thing that can happen is that they can ask you to leave. I don't stay in the same hotel for more than a few days and when i'm staying in a hotel I don't try to be out of my room that much or let the staff see me much.
6.) Is a $300/hour donation too much for a new, young escort? Hell no even in a bad market that doesnt seem too high
7.) Is it stupid that I would rather not waste my time with half hour appointments? No if you don't want to do them then don't. I know some girls when the guy asks the rate they say "its X for half and Y for an hour". I don't do that cuz it makes the guy just want the half hour. With me im like "it's Y to come see me" However sometimes guys will be like oh, Y is too much and ill say okay, well how about X for the half? and sometimes you can get a good "half hour" regular, maybe someone who just never has a time to sneak off and just wwnts the half hour. but its up to you
8.) How many appointments do you try to book a week? I only work in the daytime but I do 2-3 appointments a day usually
9.) I've read about escorts doing overnight appointments with customers for a large fee...this seems dangerous...is this advisable? No if you screen it shouldnt be dangerous and it can be fun too, these are the dates that are usually the best
10.) How do you contact an agency? On their website they will have a application form and contact info

1.) If you work through an agency what % of your donation do they take?
It depends on the agency some take 40 to 60%. there is no standard.

2.) Is the safety of working through an agency worth the lost income potential?
If your inexpereinced starting with an agency can be a good idea until you gain some expereince, but there are escorts out there who start being independent right away.

An agency generally provided phone screening, incall locations, outcall drivers, photographers but again its not standard all around. some might not drive you to the outcall or even provide you with an incall location, some photographers are not paid for with the agency, and the agency generally provides advertising but some don't advertise every girl they have equally.

3.) Do you keep an attorney on retainer?
It would be a good idea to connect with a sex worker group in your area. They will be able to tell you all the legal things to handle if your in need of them.

SWOP would be a good place to start. but there maybe a local one in your area - or even attending Desiree Alliance would be ideal to connect with everyone.

4.) Do you always tell someone where you are going and the name of the client? Or is that considering invading their privacy? (If you work as an independent).

It's always a good idea to have a buddy system. Letting someone know when your having a call in or out is ideal, if your with an agency they expect you to check-in and out.

If your independent it would be a good idea to tell a friend who your seeing, where your seeing and for how long. and if your visiting them at their home or in a hotel. **If your keeping this a secret you will have to connect with a group and meet other escorts and form a buddy system ** or some escort boards.

5.) Do hotels ever question why you have so many guests? Doesn't that leave room for them calling the police?
If your hosting incalls in a hotel, and your causing attention to yourself a hotel could put on a black list, which could really kill business for some. Some hotels are SP-friendly. If your hosting incalls you might want to bring extra towels so your not asking for them all the time.

6.) Is a $300/hour donation too much for a new, young escort?
It depends on your area and what others are charging. and also what type of services you provide.

7.) Is it stupid that I would rather not waste my time with half hour appointments?
Again this is about what other provide and what your comfortable with. Some offer half hour appointments by request only. or do not offer them at all but its about your comfort level.

8.) How many appointments do you try to book a week?
I try and get in 3 to 4 appointments in a week, sometimes I am able to have 3 in a day. but that is my personal limit.

9.) I've read about escorts doing overnight appointments with customers for a large fee...this seems dangerous...is this advisable?
Again it's about what your comfortable offering your clients.

10.) How do you contact an agency?
Agencies advertise all over, you can google your city and escort agencies and see who comes up, some advertise in papers that have adult help wanted sections.
