My goodness, that place sounds shady as hell. I'd really advise against going there.

Do a search on The Best Dancers on here. Awhile back I asked if anyone who has worked with her had good experiences... no one answered with anything really positive.

I will say that Janet means well. I worked for her twice and actually would again. I wouldn't go to Hong Kong tho, unless I knew someone there. I went to Baltimore and the club was kinda a dive and they putting me up in shitty accomodations, but my club had closed, and I was on a break from school and I just made the best of it. 2 other dancers came there from Miami during that time, but they took one look at the place a peaced out.

I also went to the Ten in Spain by way of Janet. That club was nice but it was off the strip and new with NO customers. And they put me up in the boonies a far walk from transit.

I made the best of that situation too and stitched clubs and danced for the other agent (Jason). Now Jason is a complete piece of work and a total ass. But I made the best situation out of that as well.

We are strippers, we must make our situation work. Sometimes we are the clean dancer in a dirty club. Sometimes we use a stiletto as a corkscrew.

^^^ Which agency is Jason? I think I may have seen him advertise in Strip Magazine but I'm not sure?

I believe his agency is called Laptastic. When I was dancing in Puerto Banus Jason was actually living down there booking Premier and Pink. He was very into the party scene. His 15 year old son had dropped out of school in the UK and had come to live with his father and party every night, drink, get dances at strip clubs... gross.

for the 50-11th time, janet can kick rocks. that woman will have you tricking overseas for triads without a return plane ticket home.

Eh to each their own. Janet has always been very sweet, upfront and honest with me. I've never had a problem with her and when I was in a situation I was unhappy with she did her best to get things straightened out. I'd use her again but just make sure that you do as much research on the location as possible before you go. She even let me know last time that a certain spot was a new location, she hadn't sent any girls there yet and that the club didn't look super nice from the pics. I think you also have to be smart enough to not travel anyplace without enough money to buy a ticket home in case you are uncomfortable when you get there.

the fact that janet is willing to send dancers to a place that "doesn't look very nice based on pictures" says a lot.
on the bright side, a last-minute $4000 one way plane ticket from china to the us may be tax deductible.

Dearie you can make money in a hole in the wall club just as easily as you can make money in a gown club and when I travel it's for money (not excluding safety here) and not to work in the most gorgeous club I can find. As long as I'm well informed, safe, have other nearby club options and/or money to leave if I'm unhappy I'm cool. Again...to each their own.

Bottom line: ladies if you're gonna travel for work just be smart about it.

Interesting passive aggressive tone. Are you good friends with Janet? Did you not read the complaints about some of her clubs being unsafe and stiffing girls? Everybody goes to work to make money. They are complaining because they are being ripped off and mislead. They'd be well informed if Janet were honest but increasingly they are finding she's not honest about these new and obscure spots. Not cool.

Ive used janet in the past to come to Vegas and the accomadations were perfectly safe.

I now live here and am really considering Macau. I do well off Asian men here and make $ even tho prostitution is perfectly legal in Vegas as well.

But...Im still apprehensive- Ive never been to Hong Kong or Macau before and am nervous to go alone

No I'm not a friend of Janet's. I've posted a couple of honest, detailed threads about my experiences on this and another forum. I said what I said in the last post for any newbies that might be reading this thread (I noticed there are A LOT of new girls) because I remember being that new girl that thought "Oh I'm a stripper now. I can go anywhere I want with no money in my pocket (including NYC during Christmas...not smart! lol) as long as I have enough money to buy my ticket there because I'll make a million dollars once I get there anyway."

I haven't read the posts about girls getting stuck/stiffed other than some being unhappy in Guam which from what I've read is controversial anyway. I'm not saying that it hasn't happened. I'm not here to say she's the most awesome person and would never do that to people b/c I don't know. All I can offer is my own experience and some words of wisdom...i.e. PLEASE don't do the stupid shit I use to do! lol. I have read about how there was no money in some locations but to each there own there as well. That's pretty much the nature of the biz (except for places like L.A.! lol) which is why I'm sometimes willing to find out for myself if it's convenient for me, I have the money, I know what I might be getting into etc.

Obviously going overseas to work in Macau in a new club that girls have yet to work in isn't worth finding out for yourself

Why the hell do you girls need agents to work in the US?! Can't you get your own transportation and hotel room?

^^you can't get them pre-paid for you unless there is a trusted individual willing to vouch for you.

Yes, you can pay for your own and hope to get hired at the club you want to work at.

^ if your hot you dont have to worry about that and you will be a top earner working in top clubs with high earning potential. Clubs like this though dont hire an agency, they already have hundreds off qualified girls beaten down the doors to work.

Macau has been working with agencies since they announced they were going to open. That is what this thread is about.

And yes, if you are hot you will get hired at the club you want to work at with good money making potential. Correct, clubs that you are speaking of do not need to pay for entertainers because they do not need to. UNLESS our clubs have an event going on that they need extra girls for (which has happened many times), they will never use our services. For instance, I have booked clubs in PA & Baltimore for events, FL for Superbowl, and I just booked for the College World Series this month.

Thats whats great about being with an agent. If you make yourself available for opportunities, they will come at no expense to you.

Dude! Seriously where is the attitude. I wasn't pissed, angry, irritated, attempting to be passive agressive or condescending when I wrote any of my responses. I just happen to have a different opinion......

I like it because some places reimburse you for all or part of your airfare, give you free or really inexpensive housing in areas where hotels are super expensive and I can get a definate place to work during an event i.e. superbowl (p.s. I'm like 90% sure that the 'experimental' club I went to during the superbowl was the same club Nakita booked). Sometimes if there's licensing involved they pay for that too (I think some club in ATL did this but I never got to go and I don't know if they would do that for you anyway).

IDK. Althought I have gone places on my own and had great experiences the bad ones make me nervous about doing it again...although I probably will this summer b/c there's a couple of cities I want to check out that never/hardly ever use agencies.

Not surprised. I would steer clear of Macau. Too much trafficking. I'll post a thread on it.

    .
Although some places have a different business model than the USA. Hawaii and Guam both pay dancers a shift pay, BUT they take half your drink/dance comissions. This means you will never have a horrible day, but your good days are not as spectacular. This also means clubs don't just hire any female who walks in just to collect shift pay, which keeps a good customer to dancer ratio. My take home average is the same whether I'm in Mainland USA or Hawaii or Guam.
