Around 98% of the time "We're hiring" = if we think you're pretty enough to make money here we'd like to collect a house fee & tips from you.
Most clubs are always hiring, because they are always willing to take more money.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

^ Oh so, so true. And I know this from auditioning at a bunch of places before I decided where was best for me. Only ONE told me they're booked until the end of july, and i could be on 'call list' if they need someone they call me..eh, not my ideal thing, I took it as a sign that I wasn't meant to work there. There's at least 15 girls on DAY shift at any club I worked at, so yes, most clubs are always hiring..which is good, but bad in the way that they keep bringing new girls in, what happens to the ones that have been there a while?

Generally speaking the clubs I used to see advertise the most here were the ones who charged the highest tip out. I assume that these were either clubs with a high turnover or trying to get dancers to pay the high fee.

^^^ Some clubs chose to keep entertainers that put them at risk legally in order to get more financial gain in higher tip-outs.

^ This is true. I've seen it. Sadly.

if a club genuinely isn't hiring, it's a temporary thing (like a summer freeze to be nice to the faithful girls who don't look for greener pastures), but even then they'll bend on that for a really hot girl.
pretty much all clubs advertise that they're hiring. maybe they have ads that have an "always hiring" line somewhere. maybe it's on their website. maybe it's on their sign in front of the building. or all of them.
if they advertise in the newspaper classifieds, they probably suck. it's the kind of club that gets girls who are desperate for money, and everyone leaves if they know they can do better elsewhere. the club might be great in some ways, but for one reason or another, the girls will be struggling to make good money. the kind of club where you will console yourself every night by saying "well, at least it's more than minimum wage". in some areas, that's the best you can expect at any club. in other areas, you could do a lot better.
-love everyone but keep them far from your soul-

^Sorry totally didnt think of the legal risk thing! So far, all but one club said "theyre always hiring and looking for new faces" the other told me they're booked till the end of july. Which is fine, just probably means I wasn't meant to work at that club lol.

I saw a club that was advertising for a waitress position. Once I came in they told me it was full but the dancer positions were open and I should really do that instead.
So... even the waitressing ads I don't trust.
Goodbye Seattle Lusty Lady, where every Miss is a Hit, and every Hit is Missed. 1985-2010.
A few clubs in Toronto (the clubs that have seen better days) now advertise in local papers. 1/4 page adverts that scream 'cheap drinks, come for happy hour noon to 4, lots of beautiful women' or something ALSO have a 'hiring new dancers' line at the bottom of their ads.
I always feel that 'hiring new dancers' line logically cancels out the 'lots of beautiful women' promise)

I had that happen, not once but several times. Not just waitressing either, but one club was hiring a marketing specialist and you had to go in an apply. I go in armed with my resume and the guy looked at me, said they wouldn't consider me for the marketing position but would a dancer position. I wish I had asked him why not, but I assumed that that position was either filled or they wanted a male to do it (though with my background in strip clubs, on top of my marketing experience I would have been perfect). Told me to come back when I was ready to dance again.

Agreed with all of the above. Anything management does is usually selfish and money-motivated. If you can't think of a reason why management would do something, think about what's in it for them and you'll probably find your answer. Sad, but true IMHO.

Poor management.

I think that happened when the girls are not seductive and also its depend on the population if the place where your club is running through.,.thanks
