    Default Strip Club Germs?

    Hi all,

I work in a full nude / no contact club, so I'm not worried about germs from customers so much as from other girls touching themselves and then touching the pole or the private dance booth and then me doing the same. I only slightly touch my own pussy (just kind of allude to it, or touch the very top), though I'm afraid of what I'm exposing myself to even doing that (sometimes my - sorry to be graphic - pussy lips get stuck together and I feel the need to separate them to make it look more aesthetic).

I also pretend to lick my own nipples but sometimes my tongue accidentally actually touches and all I can think about is how I just touched the pole, touched my breasts, and then accidentally licked them. Eck.

Does anyone who's been dancing for awhile in similar circumstances have any idea what the actual germ risks are?

I'd say fairly high. Clubs in general are just dirty... ewwwww. Use lots of hand sanitizer, wash your hands after every stage set, and clean the pole before every stage set... that's what I do. I also never ever touch down there. If I do graze it... its only right after I washed my hands so I know they are clean.

Hand sanitizer and alcohol are really good to have in clubs.

As a clean dancer (not providing sexual favors) you can catch:
    - Athlete's foot
    - Staph infections (particularly MRSA)
    - Tetanus
    - herpes - HSV 1
    - Airborne & easily transferable diseases like the flu

Also, keep in mind that money is often horribly dirty.

Keep up-to-date on your shots, keep your shoes on, use hand sanitizer or wipe with alcohol often and you shouldn't have problems that what you might have in a gym dressing room.

Thanks ladies! I'm already religious with hand sanitizer, though I decided I'm going to cut out any minimal touching I do. So many girls do it in my club though it's so not worth the risk.

I always kept an alcohol spray pen on me at all times just for this reason. I didn't want the germs. Always used it on my hands, never touched my kitty unless I had used it and always used it after each dance and each stage set. Seems excessive but its a lot of germs you are fighting off, you don't wanna give them the chance ya know?

OH man... Germs.. I HATE THEM. When a girl is doing tricks with her bare pussy on the pole its like leaving snail trials.. ugh ugh!! ew! Always wipe down the pole before you go on. I never touch my kitty I just dont want anything near it..

Hand sanitizer!!! Is my most important item ever!! I always buy a huge bottle and rub it EVERYWHERE after I finish a dance or work.

Plus money is dirty dirty dirty, door knobs, stair railings so hand sanitize your hands often hah.

Keep your immune system up with plenty of sleep, no smoking, exercise, monitoring your stress levels, and healthy eating. If you get sick, allow your body plenty of time to fully recover and drink lots of fluids. A strong immune system is your best friend. Hand sanitizer is your second best Careful not to rub your eyes as we take in a lot of germs this way too.

Another thing to add to the list of thing easy to catch at a club, although less common & easily caught other places, pink eye. This can be from touching the same spots as someone who had it, getting dust/gunk in your eye that lead to the conjunctivitis type of pink eye, getting too close to a customer's face who has it, or having customers sneeze on you. If ANY of these are true thoroughly rise out your eyes & use eyedrops

The poles at my new club smell good at the beginning of the night but by the 3rd set, they smell like a wet dog (seriously). They don't have alcohol to clean them either. And I get hives while at work. Oh and the other day I saw a roach crawling around the VIP and I told the manager and he said "He's gotta buy a bottle to be in VIP. Seriously though, you're new and I like you so I'll just say don't eat the food here".

OMG I saw the biggest flying cockroach once in a private room.. it was crawling up the wall. Get this.. it flew off the wall and landed on my customers face and my customer was so busy watching me he just casually scratched it away from his face without knowing what it was! Ewwwww! I almost threw up. But seeing as its somewhat tropical here cockroaches have nothing to do with the cleanliness of the club.

They make alcohol wipes that are the size of wet naps bbq places hand out. You can clean the pole with these and make it look sexy, instead of breaking out the paper towels and spray bottle before your set.

May be a stupid question but...

can you get STIs from a strip club? Like, from the pole? If girls' juices are getting on it it seems possible, but I wouldn't think the bacteria or whatever survive for very long in the outside environment? My bf mentioned it and I thought he was being stupid, but I'd hate to actually get one, and worse, not even from sex!

I used to always carry hand sanitizer and baby wipes that were soaked in alcohol. I was also contantly washing my hands.
I would squat over the toilet seats when I had to pee, but never sit on them (I still do that in public restrooms). I washed my hands before and after using the restroom.
I was always very careful about never touching my face or eyes and made sure I washed my hands before touching up my makeup.
I would never take off my panities when doing pole tricks and always used my alcohol soaked wipes before and after a stage set. I was also very careful about where I put my clothes when they came off. I would never take off my shoes.

Just bought myself those "Airborne" water packet thingies. Lot of people like to use them before flying because they boost your immune system. I figured if I'm going to be around and up close to people I should probably drink one on the way to work.
