Angry deja vu takes a lot of ur $$$!!

I just started my first night at a deja vu club and got royally screwed!! First, they take $5 out of a $20 dance....ok i can handle that. Then I do an hour champagne room where the customer is charged $450. I only got $250!! And it was funny money, they took another 10%. Then on top of that a house fee and tipping everyone out.......

I know its been said on here before about deja vu, but I just wanted to vent. I was so excited to work at this new club, and now I feel like shit.

    *Shouldve listened to Athena lol*

    im sorry lady .

was it at least busy? and do they help you sell the CRs? at the deja vu clubs i worked at they had a 'tour' of the CRs and helped sell them.

that being said, 250 of 450 sucks... but i think 250 in your pocket per hour is the going rate in cleveland. it might be 300 out of 400 at christies though, i dont remember.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

It wasnt as busy as it shouldve been opening night. No one told me any of the CR prices before I started, it seems they just kind of opened the club and told the girls to work, nobody seemed to have a clue how things worked including the floor guys and staff. Nobody helped me sell the CR, I did it on my own with a regular. I ll see how it goes but they really took a lot of my $$, more than I was expecting.

I work for acompany that is somehow connected to Deja Vu. The suck money from every different angle, but it's clean, safe, I have not encountered any extras or crazy crack whores. I am ok with paying for a nonhostile work environment.

Deja Vu is really one of the only clubs that I know of that takes more than it's fair share.
It's unfortunate that they have so many clubs too.

They spend way too much money on marketing and have to recoup it.

new clubs usually take some time to get busy and establish clientelle. however since there did used to be a hustler in cleveland, they do have an advantage.

are they doing a good job of marketing around cleveland? do people know that hustler has reopened? those are the important questions to ask. if it is going to be busy i would stick it out, but if a couple of weeks go by and nobody even know the club exists then i would try elsewhere.
