Default BoA AMEX Some Good News

So I have a BoA Amex card which pretty much stays in the safe but for a once a year gas purchase just so it stays active.

I recently got an agreement amendment and some good news:

    • They are eliminating the cash advance fee for overdraft amounts less than ten dollars. (I bet that irked the hell out of some people.)

    • No longer requiring arbitration to be used to resolve disputes.

    Bad News:

    • Reducing my rental car coverage from 100K to 50K.

So maybe the consumer boycott that has been going on against the big banks is having somewhat of an effect.

B of A is 'discovering' just how expensive credit card defaults / bankruptcy charge-off losses can be without offsetting revenues being earned from credit card accounts in good standing.
