IGNORE them. Just go about your business and act like it doesnt bother you. Focus on making $$ and seriously dont give a fuck about them, especially since turnover is so high in this business. This is advice I wish I wouldve followed when I started lol!!

^^^Was coming here to say that. Tell them they can't treat you that way and if they continue inform management.
Any time you get 12-150 girls a night in the same place, there is going to be cliques and bitchiness. It's not personal, even though they may make it feel that way. Just like high school bullies, it's about their own insecurity, not really about you. They focus on you to avoid looking in the mirror.
I say this in hopes of helping you go about your business. The advice above is accurate, I just want to put it in context for you.
Sometimes people don't go away just because you ignore them. Try ignoring first, but if that escalates their attention and you can't avoid them, then talk to management.

I like to be super friendly to them...just to irritate them and show that they're not getting to you. Above all though, do not let them know if they're getting to you because they're just trying to find what buttons to push and if they don't find any that work then they'll usually just get bored and leave you alone.

i don't think i've ever had this problem. what mean things do dancers have the time to do to one another? can you ignore them and keep doing your job? is there a manager you like that you can pull aside and tell that "so and so keeps saying really weird shit to me, is something going on with her?"
Type in "mean" or "catty" or "bitchy" into the search thread titles. I know there have been some good threads on this in the past and I have contributed to them because I used to deal with bullying ALOT. Oh yeah. also try typing in "bullying"

I have had other jobs besides dancing and one thing I've noticed is, with ANY job, women try to brain fuck one another so they can make themselves feel important because they are disappointed with their own status in life, or lack there of. It's not just dancers, I've seen it with EVERY job I've had were women are the majority. Has anyone else ever noticed this? Did you ever notice that if you work for/with a man, and if he is a dick, he will be a dick EVERY time you see him, but women don't work like that, hot & cold, off and on, whatever you wanna call it.
So true, one reason Id never want a female boss. usually if she has a out going all postive personality it never happens on a professional level, but some damn... they focus too much on THEIR feelings than thinking about the work force. This why I tend to like men as bosses/managers or whatever better, they either like you or they dont - no bullshit there.
As for the dancers.. I never expericed anything that has been done to me, but from reading about it before starting to dance, IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE AND STICK TO YOURSELF. Really though - why make friends? When you NEED to make money. Having girls that you know is nice, and saving a hi there and here and bye is always nice. But be careful of getting close and always there with them, who knows where things lead? So Stick too yourself, ignoring is always best. When you're busy making money you dont notice the bitches. If it gets bad enough, either confront, or be super super nice, nice way to confuse and piss them off.

The best hustlers I know don;t have time to worry about what everyone else is doing. So just remember that the more time and energy they spend hating on you, the less juice they'll have to hustle with. They're surely aware of it themselves..they're just hoping you haven't caught on! Learn to be a million miles away from them even while in the same room....It's a valuable skill!

Don't deal with them. Period. You don't have time for their shit.
I had a girl be a complete hag to me for no reason whatsoever last week. I laughed about it and let it go. She spent the entire night with her sour grapes face while I worked my ass off and made really good money.

Ignore, unless you can't. If a dancer is going OUT OF HER WAY to make you miserable, like messing with your stuff or something, then go to the management. She shouldn't be doing that and she has a problem. If you are talking to her and she finds that annoying and is being mean as a result, then stop. It all depends on the situation. Good luck, though.
Just be careful about going to management. When I was getting bullied by this one girl at my first club, going to management hurt me more than helped me. Turned out she was dating the manager I complained to, and he did nothing but defend her and turn things back around to make me look like the bad guy. Then of course it got back to her that I said something so she went even more out of her way to make my life hell.
The sometimes even if your complaints are valid, and you come to them calmly an professionally, alot of times it's only gonna go in one ear and out the other because they have to listen to so many girls squawking in their ear. Managers get so jaded listening and dealing with so many "crazy" women all the time that I think they learn to block 99.9% of what they hear out.
Just be sure whoever is fucking with you isn't chums with the management.
