Default White dancewear and self tanner

I want to buy some white dancewear. From what I remember, self tanner can rub off or stain white even if you have not applied it in days. Has anyone here encountered this? Is there anything I can do to avoid this? Are darker colors my best option if I choose to use sunless tanner?

    Thank you

You could wear neon colors instead of white.

Oxyclean powder gets out the sunless tanner stains.... I soaked my white dress in a big bowl with warm water and that powder for up to 6 hours or whatever the label says. It worked great. Kind of a pain, but I guess that's the price you pay for using self tanner and wearing white!
