    Arrow My Stage Name/s?

I read the FAQ, and searched, but I could not find a good place to ask this. So here I go:

Is "Cookie" a good stage name? Honestly. If you heard "Cookie" being called, what would you think?

I am trying to figure out a good name for all my vices. I've started modeling alternative style, and I will probably move in to fetish soon, by the name "Cookie Cutter". It's sort of a play on my look (I'm tall, thin, blue-eyed blonde).

I will hopefully be starting burlesque soon, and I want to go by the name "Cookie Whyte".

So, what do you think of "Cookie"?

I've met dancers who went by Cookie before... reminds me of the girl from "One Crazy Summer".

I'm not big on the name "Cookie Cutter".
On the last name "Whyte", just spell it "White". When people go to look you up on search engines that's how they'll expect it to be spelled. Also, if you try some funky spelling there's a good chance your name will get misspelled by the press regularly.

I used to go by the last name "Whyte" (it's my mother maiden name), so that's why I spelt it like that. Thanks for the input.

Not a fan of Cookie. But then, I am not a huge fan of food or car names in general.

I've danced by food type names before, in fact for a change of pace - I'm dancing by a god awful cliche stripper name. Sugar. lol

As far as Cookie? It worries me a little. For one, whatever reason may be behind it - the girls in my club all call their vaginas their "cookies". So when I hear "Cookie" I think pussy. And Cookie Whyte just sorta conjures up images of an uncomfortable coochie infection with white discharge and ... yah. Not sexy, IMO.

Also, I knew a VERY ghetto black woman who scared the LIFE out of me as a kidlet named Cookie.

    ...and also Cookie Monster.

Were I you - I'd pick something WAY different.

Do you want a food name? Animal name? Jewel or car name? Are you looking for something in particular? Im sure girls on here would be happy to give selections if you would like some...

I personally thing Felicity or Zephyr would be pretty for a blond/blue eyed girl

I would definitely shy away from names like Cookie. Introducing yourself by name is a way to create instant camaraderie (or NOT create camaraderie) between you and the customer. I would lean towards a name that could potentially be your real name (but with a little twist thrown in). Otherwise you'll have to put up with a lot of scowling/smirking from guys whenever you introduce yourself.

I could actually see a girl getting away with the name Capybara. That would be awesome.

Also, generally the men with lots of money do not enjoy playing name games. They want to feel that you're being real with them ("cut the bullshit" kind of attitudes). So you'll attract better clients if you go with a name that is at least somewhat realistic.

I'm also personally not a fan of unrealistic names. I wonder how many times a "Seduction" or "Ferrari" gets asked what her real name is, and I hear that all the time with a regular name. My advice is, take a name that's real, but not common, so you won't have to change it in case you start at another club.

    I don't like it.

Here is a video I posted over a year ago about how to choose your stripper name and why you should choose one that builds TRUST.

    Cookie sounds really ghetto.

If I was at the strip club and the dj announced "Heeeeeeeeeere's cookie" before She's even hit the stage I'd imagine a
ghetto girl with extremely bad english, bullet wounds and dirty underwear. No It's not a nice name. Take Ms. Ireland's advice and pick out a name that sounds ... like a REAL person.

Ehhhhh. Like so many before it, it's not my style at all, but then, I tend to chosse names after people I like or admire (River (from the TV series Firefly) and Hazel (from the webcomic Girls With Slingshots)). Those names are not really "mainstream" but they're believable, or almost believable. I don't get asked very often what my real name is, especially since I've switched it to Hazel. Trust me, the "What's your real name" question gets old very fast.

I hate it. I'm sorry but I do. If a girl is black I think ghetto. If white I think the dumbest, blondest most annoying person in a bar. Your name should generate the thoughts "Oooo I gotta see this." Not "Wtf I'm going out for a smoke/piss/anything that is not paying attention to a person that would name themselves "Cookie".
