Default Indiv Eyelash Glue for Strip Lashes

Has anyone tried this, specifically with the Ardell lashes that have "invisible bands" (since they are thinner)?

I googled "semi-permanent strip"+eyelashes and it seems as though some places offer this along with individual eyelash extensions, so I'm wondering what the difference is. Other than that, I can't find much more info on it. The only "reputable" piece of info I can find is a trusted makeup guru (I mean, I trust that she knows what she's doing) said that she used Lashtite (indiv glue) on strip lashes in one of her vids. She didn't say anything else, like process.

Normally Latex waterproof glue such as Duo (which is the best) is used for Strip Lashes. Most people do not wear strip lashes all the time, I do but I use the Duo lash glue and I take it off when I take off my makeup at night.

The lash glue for the individual lashes (Ardell Lashtite) usually keeps the lashes on for approximately 2 weeks.

I use the Invisibands with the Duo. I am a Certified Makeup Artist but every makeup artist has their own style of doing things.

Let me know if I helped.

Yeah - I understand what the products are sold as/conventionally used for, but I was wondering if anyone used them differently.

I actually went ahead and did it, and they turned out well. Unfortunately, I sleep on my side, so one side of the lashes was a little more droopy (while the other side was more perky) when I woke up. I tried to fix this with an eyelash curler with little success. Once I put on the rest of my eye makeup, it wasn't as noticeable, though. I actually took the lashes off yesterday bc I was self conscious about the uneveness, even though others said they they didn't notice it until I pointed it out.

I really do recommend this method if you want semi perm strip lashes (quicker than indiv). In general, indiv looks better, though, bc you have to be very careful with the strip lashes and make sure that the strip lines up as close to your lid as possible (without gluing your lid).

I took the lashes off like I would if I were using indiv - I held a tissue under my top lashes, while gently using a cutip to brush where the fake lash band was connected to my real lashes. This, too, was a simple process.
