I just received the depo shot... last time I had it I gained about 5 lbs, which for dancing would be ok, but I have a SHIT TON of modeling work coming up and I only gain weight in my mid section, not like in my boobs or butt. Is there anything I can do outside of the normal exercise and eating right to prevent this? The lady at the clinic said to drink lotssss of water, which I plan to do anyway.

I'm having issues eating right, because I simply can't afford it. We have to eat what's here because I'm out of work right now... (trust me, I wish I was working! I'm sooo bored and need monies!) and most of what we have is prepackaged crap and fried foods cause that's what was here before. My ideal goal is to become pescatarian but I've kinda been failing at that so far... I have managed to not eat red meat more than 3 times in 3 weeks though!

So this is what I want to do... drink a ton of water (I will probably have to buy bottled, the tap water here is terrible!
Egg whites, yo.
whole grains
A ton of veggies, no salt, butter, or meat fats cooked in
lots of fish such as tilapia and tuna
chicken occasionally
oatmeal!
whole wheat or ezekiel bread, that stuff is teh hotness.
And I want to have NO soda, NO animal fats (bacon etc yuck!) and NO artificial sugars... when I eat like this I feel better physically and emotionally.

The problem is... I've had depo a few days and already feel the cravings for junk. And beyond eating better, how can I target specifically the muffin top/pooch/back fat area? Ideally, I want to build muscle in my legs to make them appear larger, and trim/tone my waist to make it appear smaller. Also, good booty exercises! Cause I has none. Booty that is, it's tiny. I've been doing some and it's helped but I'll never have a ghetto booty. -__-
