Default Want cosmetic surgery but can't afford it?

I've been doing research for my upcoming breast augmentation and came across two helpful websites that offer loans for women seeking cosmetic surgery, dental work, and even veterinary care for their furry friends!

    http://carecredit.com/
    http://surgeryloans.com/

They offer no interest financing (for 3, 6, and 12 months) if you qualify. And interest rates ranging from 5.9%-22% if you don't qualify for no interest financing. They also have deferred payment and have acceptance or denial answers in as little as 15 minutes. They have some more strict requirements than other lenders because they don't take collateral. Apparently even a small sum in collections could disqualify you...good thing I paid off Bank of America!

(snip)You don't have to have A+ credit to qualify for financing with SurgeryLoans.com. In fact, SurgeryLoans.com approves more patient loans than other institutions because we offer a broad range of loan options for patients with a variety of credit backgrounds.
At SurgeryLoans.com we take many factors into consideration before approving or denying a loan application. Our underwriters carefully review the following factors:
    Current income
    Credit history
    Employment history
    Debt-to-income ratio

Since our loans are unsecured, meaning there is no collateral taken in exchange for the loan, our underwriters also check to make sure none of the following factors exist on your credit report:
No bankruptcies or foreclosures within the last 6 years
    No repossessions
No tax liens or civil judgments
    No items currently in collection
    (snip)

Since my credit is spotless right now I'll definitely be applying for a 12 month, no interest loan. We'll see how it goes, if I can keep everything current like I have then I may very well have myself a damn good deal. And... if I can put like $1,500 down and my total costs are between $4-5,000 then I will definitely be able to pay it off in a 12 month period...6 months if need be.

This of course won't happen until AFTER my car has been purchased and my premium has been paid to BCBS...but in 2011 for sure!

    Hope this helps!

*tucks this info away in her boob job folder*. Thank you very kindly ma'am! I've seen pamphlets for places like this in the plastic surgeons office, but never actually considered it an option for myself. I may just do so now though... I never realized it was like an actual loan, I assumed it was a gimmick? It'll probably build my credit too.

It is an actual loan, yes. You can put money down to lessen your monthly payments AND there is no penalty for paying in full before the deadline! Like any loan it should build your credit, just ask them if they report to the credit bureaus and you'll have your answer!
