Thumbs up sulfate free shampoos: my secret to good hair

    Hey-
Here's a tip for your hair-
I have heard about sulfate free shampoos but I wasn't really sure if I believed the hype. I went and bought Loreal EverPure Shampoo and Conditioner...and WOW my hair has NEVER been in such good condition.

With other shampoos, it seemed like my hair would get so dry, right after I washed and styled my hair just looked weighed down, never sleek and soft like I wanted it. I would blow dry, straighten, put frizz cream, put this, put that, but my hair never looked quite right. I went thru a phase where I didn't wash my hair but once a week, and would just rinse my hair, and that's when I noticed that shampoos and products really were damaging the f*ck out of my hair.

Anyway, the shampoo does lather up, and it smells pretty good. I'm a natural brunette and my hair is lightened to a medium/light blonde, and I swear, after using these sulfate free shampoos I am a believer! My hair has body and bounce, with no frizz, and it feels really soft. I swear my entire life I've wanted my hair to feel/look like this and it's a secret I just can't keep to myself. I know they make sulfate free soaps too, which I am trying to find, to see if the effect will be the same for my skin. And since I've been using it, I swear my hair is growing faster too. Definitely recommend

I didn't like everpure. I think pureology is a much better sulfate and paraben free product.

Do these shampoos strip color? I have bright red hair and it seems like wither the shampoos/conditioners either strip the color or end up greasy fast.

I quit using sulfates & parabens in shampoo & it helped me a lot too.
