Starting stripping isn't for everyone and isn't always the answer to money problems. Short-term it may be okay but long-term can tax the soul in my own experience, however the seduction of the big money sucks you in and you keep repeating the same pattern and going back to work in the clubs again. This cycle is really unhealthy. It's important to be aware of it. Once you are in its hold it's hard to get out. It's not something you can understand until you are in the grips of it. You need to have the strength to choose your happiness and your soul over the money and make a commitment to leave the clubs at a particular time, say 6 months (no matter what!)

Hypothethically speaking, of course. What if you are a 38 year old, looking to do this short term, because you dont have any job experience to do something else? I know from reading many posts it is not easy to get started at 38, then starting young and hanging in until your 40. Just wondering.

Lana makes a very good point. Some people have a big problem getting out of stripping despite their best intentions. It really can become a very vicious cycle. What I would suggest it making a plan to get out-not just setting a date to stop, but creating a plan that would also detail out what your going to do when you stop and how you are going to do whatever it is, and break it down into steps that you can check off as you do them.

Unless, of course, you want to be a career stripper which is perfectly okay with me. If I thought I could pull it off, I would. But hubby and daughter probably wouldn't appreciate that...lol
