As some of you know, I have been working out and dieting really well, and have collectively lost 10-15 lbs since January, which may not sound like a whole lot, but I am only 5" tall, so it is a significant change on me. Not to mention, I lost the weight the healthy way, no crazy diets, no illegal pills, or anything like that. Just diet and exercise!
Well, I haven't told you guys, but a few days ago I had liposuction done on my outer thighs. For those of you who have seen pictures of me on here, I am in good shape with good muscle definition right now, but I do still have some areas that the fat just won't leave 100%. It is almost ALL gone from my lower abdomen though, and I am thrilled about that! I was sure I was going to have to resort to a doctor sucking the fat out of there, but with a lot of perseverance, I was able to get rid of it. In the past, like back in 2006, I had Lipodissolve (FIG) which is a serious of injections of a solution that causes fat cells to burst, then your lymphatic system flushes them out, done on my inner/outer thighs, flank area, and lower abdomen. Although I noticed the areas became smoother, it wasn't dramatic enough of a difference, and add in all the downtime involved, it was NOT worth the 5K, which I inevitably lost because FIG went bankrupt and I never finished my treatments!
Well, my friend that does all the marketing for a plastic surgeon here in Dallas, called me up early a few days ago, and asked if I wanted to be part of a case study and get free lipo on any one area of my body, so I went ahead and did it. The doctor looked at me, and told me that I would get the best benefit from my outer thigh area. He actually told me that I don't have enough fat on my lower abdomen to even consider doing that area(used to NOT be the case!) but I went ahead and did a combination of vibro lipo (aka "tickle" lipo) and then smart lipo, to tighten the skin and remove any fat left.
I walked out of the office in very little pain, he did not use any anesthesia, only Versed and some strong pain killers, which I took before hand, and of course lidocaine on the area. Right now I have very little swelling and almost no bruising, although I am still completely numb in some areas of my upper/outer thighs. They said this is normal, it's the lidocaine solution still in there, and it will gradually go away but will take a few weeks. I am a little sore, but like I said, I was walking around that night. In fact, I left the Dr.'s office and went straight to Whole Foods, then went home and cooked dinner. Later, I took my little sister to Pinkberry, I was walking around just fine!
Anyways, I've realized how much I want to make dramatic changes in my body, so I have decided this year to finally get breast implants. My breasts have shrunk down to a large A cup, which is very embarrassing, considering I was always a full C cup before the weight loss. I also still want to go to Colombia for the Brazilian Butt-Augmentation. I have already contacted Dr. Hoyos via email and phone, and sent in my photos. I'm not sure if I want to do this first, or the BA, I'm still deciding. And, with all of that, I think I also want a rhinoplasty. It would have to be very subtle though, and I'm still not sure if this is realistic.....
After all of that, I want my veneers and dental implant redone, and my gums reshaped. I'm not happy with it at all now that I'm older. I have to go out and find a qualified Dentist to make me new ones now, and I have no idea what to look for in that regard!
So those of you who have gone through any of this, if you have any suggestions for me, I'm open. Is any of this worth it?
