    Default Injury - seriously bummed

I dislocated my kneecap. Luckily, not on the job. (That would have been embarrassing.) But this means I'm probably out of a job for a good chunk of time. This being summer (no school) and all, I was really counting on my summer income (and had been doing really well, too, and having a blast) and was paying down student loans aggressively, and then I got injured and now I can't do anything at all. I'm pissed. I'm also going to India for three weeks at the end of the month, and thus this mandatory break from work is going to be really really long. It also means my body is going to go to hell because I don't know how to workout without my legs, and I used to love going to the gym. I'm really sad and nervous and upset.

You could get a personal trainer at the gym to show you how to work out without your legs.

I hope you can find a temp job to tide you over while you heal

Oh noooo. I'm so sorry to hear that. Take it easy, okay? DON'T put stress on your body because it'll take longer to get back to doing the things you love. Feel better!
