Slow, sensual, pin-up with a little bit of erotic tease thrown in depending on the club. I use a lot of big arm movement & stylized hands, combined with small hip circles/bumps & toying with my costume to tease the audience. I don't have any videos online but this will give you an idea:
My old stage partner & good friend... we made great money together!

Song is "You Put A Spell On Me" by Devil Doll <3 <3 <3
Another friend of mine:

Song of course is Love Potion #9
The "erotic" part is a bit hard to explain - more a thing you have to see in person.
For music I'll do old school blues/jazz stuff, 80's, bubblegum pop - pretty much whatever.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Cool question!
My style depends on the music and the customers. The default is quite elegant and sensual - to some classic R&B, if i'm aiming for impact i'll go with something a little more burlesque with moves and costume that are more burlesque to match, or depending on the crowd something more rockish with more dramatic faster spins and a more dominant persona, or if I'm feeling the crowd is right more filthy hiphop with lots of floorwork.
The contstant is lots of eye contact and since i only have about 6 pole tricks i try to use them sparingly (lol) so i like to move away from the pole and around the stage.

I wouldnt make it burlesque. I have to move my ass if it aint Jeezy or Gucci...lol I cant do it
But it IS sexy, burlesque, for those that do it

I am mostly super slow and sensual. I like to tease, etc. Every girl does the booty shake at my club so I refuse to do it. I don't dress in a burlesque style at work, but my dance moves reflect that genre most definitely.
And I will dance to just about anything![]()
I prefer hip hop mostly. So I'd be more like the one you portray as well.

Casey....lol there are some moves that every girl does in my club, and i refuse to do ugh
But as far as booty shaking, they all did it too, but only a few could pay rent off it. lol was my signature thing. lol

I'm very burlesque-y. I've done a fan dance in the club. Hell, I tap danced in the club once. ( Don't laugh too hard, I made bank off of it!)
But I also do theme sets like 90% of the time. so my movement depends on the music, but I personally don't dance to rap or hip hop.. I just look stupid when I try to LOL.. 17 years of classical training just won't go away.

im very sensual... i dance slow and "flow through my moves" I tend to dress sophisticated and sexxy...not trashy ... I've never bootie bounced once in 6 years of dancing, and prefer the up close and personal type of stage dancing vs. the pole tricks....
my body is very long & lean, so I move very, very slow and do alot of floor work that emphasizes those qualities.

I dance to a lot of upbeat songs, so I dance faster too. I hold onto the pole for dear life though. I'm 5'10 so with my heels I'm about 6'3, I can be really clumsy.
I do a lot of spins and a lot of floor work. I don't think I'm sexy on stage. I smile and laugh too much when I'm up there.![]()

I work at hiphop clubs most of the time, so I have to dance accordingly. Booty clapping, booty popping, dropping it with no hands, pussy popping on a handstand, etc.
Ok well...I can't do the last one, yet anyway.
The crowd doesn't appreciate much deviation from that where I work- trust me, I've tried! LOL
I can do slow and sensual very well, I just rarely get a chance to use it. To be honest, I prefer the high energy because it takes less effort and I don't have to think about that to do next. It seems like the song is over in 2 minutes as opposed to 4 mins.
Women of color:
Shake your ass and preserve your heritage.
Bang those fucking drums.
Do it for the present and future generations.
Have fun and stick it to the man at the same time. (bad-dominicana)

Depended daily on my mood.

I rarely dance on stage anymore but when I do it's more high energy with areas of slow and sensual. It bores me to watch a girl dance slowly for a whole set unless she is either a trained dancer or an amazing pole technician. Without the right eye contact and intention it just looks lazy to me

Slow, sensual, use lots of eye contact and cheeky smiles. Throw in a few pole tricks, but Im mainly close to the customers to get their tips. I might whisper something cheeky in their ear while close by.
Slow and sensual is cool
but clapping the ass and all other
Is the move... I can do it all.. I'm a great dancer

"pole technician"
I play different music depending on the crowd, so my dancing will change accordingly. I like big arm leg movements and I try to use the whole stage. I want the guy in the back up against the wall to notice me. I like alot of crowd interaction too. Pole tricks, booty clappin', floor work are all cool. You have to keep in mind its about the tips. Scratch that.. Its about selling the dances/ rooms.
I believe a good dancer can dance to anything.
I'm so bothered by a dancer who stands on stage and refuses to dance because she doesnt like the song that on (esp, when its a two girl rotation, it takes the attention away from the girl who picked it). Its unprofessional. What ever happened to "The show must go on"?
