    Duh Frustrated with payment processors!

I'm trying to go independent but I'm feeling a bit discouraged.

I can't use Paypal for obvious reasons. Ecampay isn't working at the moment. Zombaio appears to be for adult membership sites only (unless I'm missing something).

Alertpay has been pissing me off. I started off with a business account, downgraded to a Personal Pro account per Malaya's advice, realized that my real name is visible to customers... I emailed support and they said to upgrade back to a business account if I want to hide my name.

So I did, added my bank account and after waiting FOREVER, it tells me "Due to a temporary interruption in Canadian localized banking, you cannot add a bank account for verification at this time. Please consider the other available options."

    Grrr... wtf does that mean?

To top it all off, I can't use Epasseporte because I'm in Canada and I need an American bank account. I could theoretically drive 2+ hours down across the border to the nearest bank and open an account... but seriously, I do NOT want to go to all that trouble... argh. Then again, I'm broke and Epasseporte pays out immediately upon request, right? That would be awesome! I'm sick of waiting for checks and then waiting 5+ business days for it to show up in my account...

SO are there any other payment processors that are simple to use (like Paypal) that allow adult transactions?

Moreover, even without my own payment processor, I can still sign up to some other sites and use theirs, right?

hmmm. u kno, this may b a pointless post but maybe driving the 2+ hrs would save u trouble in the end or it could b even more of a pain in the ass if u need to actually get to the bank for whatever reason. now online banking has made things a lot easier than they were in the past.

can u sign up for an account online? i have no clue but it would b worth looking into.

Sounds to me like the two hour drive might be worth it. Have you talked to your bank though about setting up payment processing online as a merchant account? That might be an option.

You might also want to look into using web-tokens.com. They pay out weekly by direct deposit. They primarily process for phone sex, but also do cam, text chatting, panty sales, etc.

You keep 75%, 90% on merchandise. You can process via phone or have an online form made up for you so clients can enter their own details. I've never had a missed payment or issue of any kind. I highly recommend them.

Well, I had already signed up with a business account, so instead of deleting it I just downgraded it. Then I asked them if they could change my display name and they said no, but said I should use a business account. SO I upgraded it back to business and here I am today, lol.

I may just delete this account and open a new one under Personal Pro with my cam name, but I'm going to wait and see what the deal is with not being able to add my Canadian bank account.... arrgghh I feel like I'm running around in circles.

Errmmm, you can use epassporte in Canada. I'm in Canada too, and saw that I needed a US checking account so I emailed them and they got back to me and said that to confirm my account, all I needed to do was have at least $5 transferred to me by an Epassporte Business Account (ie. a camsite). I'm still waiting on my payment to arrive next week from one of my camsites but thats all I should need. I know a few canadian girls that use epassporte so it should be legit. Maybe email them...but I'll let ya know if my payment goes through and I get verified.

Thanks! I applied for one yesterday and it said I've been approved. Now I just have to get it funded somehow.

Spexy, thanks! I guess I can send a support ticket to Streamate or MFC and have them send $5 of my earnings over to Epassporte? That sounds pretty easy... I'll attempt that too. Hopefully it'll work.

Okay, what is up with this web-tokens site??? I checked it out, wasn't a whole lot of info, no navigation to speak of...

I'm always on the look out for new payment processors but this one just confused me a little bit.

LMAO, I just went back to the site and checked their HTML, it was threw together with FRONTPAGE.

I mean, damn dude, they could've at least gotten a bootleg copy of Dreamweaver, but Frontpage?!?

I need to go back to designing websites for people, man. Nobody seems to know how to do it these days.

Just to let you know - I had the same problem with Alertpay showing my name but this is how to fix it -

To edit the business profile on your Business account, you can follow these simple instructions:

    1. Login to your AlertPay account.
    2. Click on "Business Tools".
    3. Under “Standard Integration”, click on "Manage Business Accounts".
    4. Click on the icon under “Edit”.
    5. Enter the necessary information and click on "Submit".

I love Alertpay, I have never had a problem with them. *knock on wood* lol
Also if you sign up on realgirls, and use their CCbill account, its alright.. I think you get about 75 percent of earnings that way. I tried to sign up for CCBill independently once... ha! That wasnt happening.

LOL. Yeah, that was my response too when I saw the site, but I checked them out and Mikey (the owner) has an impeccable reputation among phone sex operators (and other phone sex company owners) that goes back several years. He's definitely not a web designer, but he's earned a lot of trust from a very cautious group of people. If you search web-tokens on any of the phone sex operator forums, you'll come across nothing but good things. He also owns a very well established phone sex company (OLCI) and distributes the industry bad caller/chargeback/fraud alert list that company owners subscribe to.

I get nothing out of mentioning them, but unlike some of the other processors I've always gotten timely responses and payments, so thought I'd pass it on to those interested.

Signing up for an epassporte account... do I use the personal account and my fake name? Or... my real name? Business account? :S

A lot of the smaller payment processing sites look like shit , but do the job .

There again a lot of them look like shit and don't do the job - ECP :-)

Ecampays homepage is full of typos , which if you ask me is worse than coding using frontpage - I mean typos are visible to everyone, not just a fellow designer and it didn't put us off back then , even after several of us mailed to advise them of their spelling errors.tsk tsk

to me, one of the most annoying and unprofessional things is spelling mistakes on a website that is supposed to be professional. lol. It irks me.

I second this question- I want to get set up on epassporte/alertpay/greendot ..but how? Under business? Under professional pro? Does it show your real name/address, OR if you sign up with your cam name will it still show your address? Thank you!! (oh and check out my new banner!! )

Alertpay, epassporte, etc. are payment processors so signing up with fake/stage name might be okay. But that damn GreenDot is FDIC insured. "F" as in FEDERAL. So signing up with Fake name real SS#, or Real Name fake SS#, or even fake everything = no bueno.

It's hard out here for a pimp lol.
