OKAY so long story short, my curling iron's on/off switch is extremely finicky. When I went to grab it to move it the other day, the fucker was ON for some reason, and my pinky finger touched the barrel.
420 degrees of JUSTICE.
Blister. Yay.
Blister popped prematurely, skin peeled, felt the burn all over again. YAYYYYYY.
The bandage that I had some neosporin on over it last night at work ended up falling off while I was doing some pole work. (No one noticed. Club was dead)
But I hadn't brought an extra bandaid with me, and the wound didn't look THAT bad at work, so I continued the night like normal, just washing my hands a little more often.
This morning, my finger is THROBBING with pain despite ibuprofen and another neosporin bandage. Like SERIOUSLY this thing HURTS.
WTF. I don't work until later this afternoon but if it's not better by the time I'm out of my day job I'm seriously thinking about calling my doctor for a doctor's note and calling in!
Anyone have any remedies? It's obviously infected or else it wouldn't be this painful! (And yes, the blister site is very angry looking)
