Default Gaining and keeping your prime dancing body

    Hi Girls!

So basically I would like to talk abou gaining my body back when it was gorgeous when I first started. (I prepared alot before hand and was 23, am now 24 so its a reasonable goal)

I don't dance anymore, however I am missing my dancing body sooo much! It was so nice to be so trim all the time. (which I was prob more aware of when I was dancing).

So now that I haven't been dancing, I have let go just a little bit...(I havent meant too and it hasnt been obvious I'm just not AS trim. (was a 2 now a 4) and am finding that I love food....which is weird because its kindof become my crutch...and finding it REALLY hard to lose weight which is unusally for me as I usually find it quite easy to get back in shap when I want too.

I have quite a small frame and fat doesn't sit well on me as my figure compliments my frame so fat just mucks it all up and makes me look sloppy lol.

The cravings constantly anger me...and things that I never normally crave...like cakes and chocolate, and if I have a peice of cake...I will want another!! Which never EVER happens!

I have never had cravings this strong before in my life! I can usually tell them where to go, let them pass, and get on with the day. or mayb have a tiny bit on a reasonable healthy lvel. However it feels like I'm actually out of control....like there is NOTHING stopping the STORM of cravings.

I'm not on any particular meds. (And I'm definately not pregnant) so I'm totally stuck!

The only thing that has changed is I have an implanon recently...which I shall research haha!

The point is I would like my lovely dancing body back.

I mainly ate tinned fish (gross I know but sooo good for keeping hunger away and your skin and sleep)

I excersize twice per week and its getting out of control! Yuck!! I've never been higher than a 6, I have always been fed healthy foods since I was young lol so there is nothing there and am always really health conscious so this is freaking me out!

    Help me!

I feel like I'm growing into a giant Alice in Wonderland thats all sloppy and could kill anything with one step

Cut out ANYTHING sweet! Even if it is an artificial sweetener, even if it is Splenda (chorinated sugar). Seriously, eat bland plain foods, then your body will adjust. Even when you eat artificial sweeteners, it triggers an insulin response. Insulin = stored fat, since insulin tells your body to hold on to fat. Try taking Alpha Lipoic Acid (I like the bi layer Jarrow brand) about 30-45 minutes before each meal. It helps regulate insulin levels and blood sugar, and controls cravings as well as hunger related mood swings. Not to mention, it's a potent antioxidant. This is one of the few supplements I take that I can honestly say I notice a significant difference in how I feel.

As far as tinned fish, well that's a guilty pleasure of mine as well. I have switched though to very low sodium chunk white albacore tuna, and of course I still eat sardines, just not as much, and the water packed ones.

You can say that again.. not just on here but men in general. Guys are so damn lame, the only way they can halfway make up for it is by opening their wallets.

Seriously JD is so right about cutting out sweets! I lost weight just cutting out my daily snickers bar and any other sweets. After awhile you really won't miss them at all.
Oh, and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar 3 times a day ,(not every day though, I take breaks from it), helps curb my hunger and is great for speeding up the healing process if you're sick.

It could very well be your implanon; messing with your hormones will influence cravings big time! You might try something keto-ish... don't have to go full-on keto, but increase the healthy fats, which will keep you satiated. Nuts, avocados, etc. Worth a shot.
