    Default County laws?

Where do you go to find out about the local laws? I am starting a new club and they do lapdances which I don't think are legal in this county. If so how are they getting away with it? Also should I just move on or stay if it's ok and refuse to do laps? I'm thinking if they got raided I'd be lumped in with everyone else. Or is sticking to weekdays safer?

http://www.municode.com/ is a good website for looking up local laws. If you can't find anything call the local Sheriff's office & ask.

Some clubs do offer lap dances illegally. Usually when they know LE is coming in they rush everyone into the dressing rooms to avoid anyone getting a ticket. One of my friends got caught at a club that did this last year, she didn't get out of the lap dance area fast enough. The club owner was nice enough to pay the ticket... but it's still on her record.

Personally, I'd research the laws & stick to them - even if the club allows more than the law.

I'm actually afraid to call the local sheriff, b/c I don't want to call attention to the place. That's why I'm not listing it on here.
But there was a known whorehouse operating out of a strip joint in orange county NY was in the paper and everything and they are still business as usual. Must be who you pay off. I also gather the local dirty cops are getting their peckers wet there.

If you are thinking about working there your primary concern should be making sure they operate legally so you don't end up in a world of trouble.

you should be able to call the sheriff without drawing attention to the place. dont mention that lap dances are offered there. just ask generally whether they are legal in strip clubs... sound like a total newb. you dont have to state that you know what is going on there, because i agree, you dont want to get the place busted and have the girls already working there get in trouble.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.
