    Default Weird dreams

I dreamed I was wading through some water and came up on some kind of beach. I found a snake. Some random guy with me said it wasn't poisonous so I picked it up, then it changed from looking like a boa constrictor to a different snake. It bit me on the wrist with 1 tooth and I asked the guy, you sure this isn't poisonous? He said "I don't know!". I stood there for a moment thinking "$%^&" then I woke up.

If it means anything i guess it means not to listen to what other people tell me!

Snakes represent two faced people in your life I believe... I dreamed about being bitten by a 6 foot boa once. Water means several things depending on the condition of the water... is it clear, choppy, still, fast moving, etc?

My turn! Last night I dreamed about going into a barbeque restaurant with a pet hamster in a giant ball thing. I talked to the lady about ordering some ribs and told her I worked at the club next door. (I've never worked at a club next to a BBQ place!) When I was leaving, I took the hamster out to carry it and it turned out to not be a hamster, but a small monkey/lemur/marmoset. It was apparently angry we were leaving the yummy restaurant and it bit me. The end!

I had a dream the other night that I was in a motel complex where 4 foot tall boiled eggs were starting to take over the world. They kind of slowly glided around and a large convex opening would yawn open near their tops, from which a strange frequency sound was emitted that would cause you to do their bidding.

if I worked at a club next to a bbq shack, I'd be fat as hell.

this morning I dreamed I was hanging out with rob halford drinking coronas in costa rica.

    Here's mine:

To see a hamster in your dream, represents underdeveloped emotions. You are distancing yourself from others so that you won't end up getting hurt. It may also indicate that issues of sexuality are trivial to you. You are able to separate sex and love.

To dream of a barbecue, refers to a minor issue or transformation occurring in your waking life.

To dream that you are in a restaurant, suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed by decisions and choices that you need to make in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that you are seeking for emotional nourishment outside of your social support system.

To see a monkey in your dream, symbolizes deceit. People are working to advance their own interest. They also represent insight and intuition. Alternatively, monkeys also indicate an immature attitude, a playful nature and a mischievous side of your personality

Is an animal biting you? In dreamspeak animals are often stand-ins for aspects or oneself, particularly aspects of oneself that are emotional or instinctual. To interpret a dream of an animal bite, it is important to first ascertain the qualities you associate with the biting animal. Snakes are common animals that bite in dreams. A snake bite may indicate a person who is a "snake in the grass" or, it may actually indicate overcome a situation, with the bite acting as an injection of wisdom rather than venom. (For more information about snakes in dreams, see this article: Snakes in a Dream! http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art16788.asp

I bet mine was overcoming an issue. We just opened a store and I was a little freaked out about investing all my money but that night particularly things had been going really well and I felt really good about my investment.
Plus in my dream I didn't feel it hurt or anything like that. I didn't really care, I was just like, crap.

oh wait, there have been a lot of 2 faced action going on around here... I DON'T KNOW!

What's up with everyone getting bitten tho, and giant eggs?

Also, snake bites can symbolize the snake injecting wisdom. Not necessarily negative.

I had one last night... I moved back home and I had a pet German Sheperd and my mom poisoned it with antifreeze. Scary and sad.

I had a very bizarre one that is still freaking me out. It was a dream in a dream. Basically, I dreamt that I went with a group of people to rob a bank and someone (or someones) got killed by them and I was an innocent bystander. So then I thought (this part gets weird) that was a dream, but then I found myself waking up and finding out the cops were on the phone, telling me to give myself up. So all day I kept asking myself if I should give myself up, especially when the cop told me I might get immunity because I didn't rob or kill anyone. Then I finally (for real) woke up and was literally shivering because the dream felt real.

I still remember this one even tho I was like 16 when i had it. I was at my grandfathers and we had the place locked up, windows boarded. It was like the world had ended outside and we had to stay inside, doomsday type. For some reason a bunch of my family were arguing about something, someone had to go outside for something. The dream didn't really go into why. So I was tossed outside. Something jumped on me from behind and knocked me down. I never got to see what it was in my dream but I know it was some kind of monster. It ripped my back up and I was screaming in the dream, then I woke up screaming and I had my back arched like I had been in the dream. I felt like I had felt the thing ripping into me. It freaked me out! Didn't go back to sleep that night..

That is some Freddy Krueger shit right there! Crazy

@Kelly, I have never experienced a dream within a dream... must be interesting, although a little scary.

I never dreamed vividly until I took mescaline one time several years ago. I think, although I took very little, that it sticks with you. The night I took it I didn't experience any hallucinogenic affects, but my dreams were amazing, vivid, and weird. (A nun wearing a gas mask and breast pumps was in one, wtf?) After that I started actually having vivid dreams.

It was really creepy, and it was so real. When I woke up (for real) I was shivering so bad though it was warm. I know I'd never be in that situation (don't know anyone who'd do that) but still freaked me out.

I had a weird dream the other night, and I think it's a sign of some sort. I dreamt that I had several abortions because I didn't know if the father was the guy I love, or the one who wants to fool around no strings attached. Then I got pregnant again and found out (through figuring out when it was conceived I guess) that the one I love was the father so I kept it. Very weird and trying to figure out the significance. I'd likely never have an abortion, nor am I sleeping with anyone because I hope to sleep with the guy I love.

I don't think you got a valid interpretation here, except this...

I'll also try, but without knowing anything about you either.
Symbolically being in water often means delving into your unconscious, trying to learn something. But you weren't deep in the water and soon came out of it onto a beach, like your conscious self. Snakes can mean a search for hidden knowledge because of the Adam-Even legend and because snakes mostly stay out of clearings in the underbrush where you can't see them (and the above quote). If this is so, it underscores your search, even in your everyday life. However, you allowed your masculine inner image to trick you, even though you were initially wary of it.
To me your dream means you need to learn to be wary of identifying too much with men and allowing yourself to trust them too much before learning of your underlying feelings about their trustworthiness.
But dreams need to be interpreted by someone who knows you because the symbols can mean different things because of your background.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

I think that vivid experience taught you how to remember your dreams.

Sounds like you were remembering, or re-experiencing emotions you felt from, a zombie movie you saw recently back then.

Here's another one, just because my dreams have been off the chain lately!

I'm friends with a three legged girl. She looks a little like Little LuLu, just with an extra appendage. We're walking through the woods with a pet gerbil in a wire cage, and it's snowing. There's ice all over the cage, so I think I took him out to warm him up and he tried to bite me.

Seriously, what is with the biting mammals?!?!

Snow, being cold, indicates that you suppress your feelings. Being white, it also signifies being critical or judgmental - being a perfectionist you set the bar too high for others and even yourself to achieve.

    Sounds about right.

    Girl

Depending on the circumstances and other symbols, dreaming of a young girl is generally a positive omen. If you know her, and the other dream symbols support it, this is a portent of new opportunities; if she is a stranger, expect some surprising news. For a woman, a strange girl can represent her youthful side; for a man, she could represent his ideal lover.

Yes, but SHE HAD THREE LEGS, wtf?

The gerbil is a symbol of surreality. Dreams containing gerbils are often the most difficult to interpret, or simply contain no useful information at all. They are usually quite entertaining though.

Well, guess that explains why she had three legs...

Ok, here's a dream I had last night. I dreamt I got a job in a bank as a marketing person (I think). The pay was something like $1200 a month, which is extremely low for someone like me. I balked at the amount but took it anyway. Then the big wigs came in and I threw a snowball at them. Because I damaged a suit, I go charged something like $2000! I was mad.

I've been having these recurring dreams lately that I am either giving birth or getting married. The first time I ever had a wedding dream was the night I spoke to my long lost friend (the one I am dealing with now).We never brought up marriages at all, and that night I dreamt I married him. In the dream was my one cousin (who came over the morning of the wedding with donuts) and a family friend who was telling all about marriage (he got married very late in life, something like early 50's). Then there was another wedding dream where my mother left the wedding ceremony to smoke outside. There have been many other wedding dreams. There was a dream where I dreamt I was in childbirth at a hospital I'd never been to (though lived by). I saw the room very vividly, and when I looked it up online the next day, saw the childbirth room, was IDENTICAL TO MY DREAM. It's ironic because before I reconnected I never gave weddings or childbirth much thought and now because of these dreams it's doing something to me. Coincidence or future events? We'll see. Oh and one night I dreamt he came to me and told me all his problems, and he did a few days later. Also dreamt one time where I heard a voice saying "give him time". Bizarre.

My most recurring dreams are about drive-ins. I think these have either to do with relating to my childhood (my family attended drive-ins all the time) or it symoblizes "screening something out" because sometimes all I see are the screens.

I had one of the wierdest dreams I have ever had last night.

It all started with a lost dove walking into the house.

It turns out that this dove was a 'shape-shifter' - and on the run from the 'Big Brother' establishment that governs his Planet. Next thing I know. I'm jumping Space and Time Dimensions with this dove - who actually turns out to be Tom Cruise - and anything we touched was turned into a 'Time Key' that unlocked new dimensions to jump to.

So...like...a packet of chewing gum could be a key...or a loaf of bread. There were 'jumping' kiosks on every street corner - and you just threw the 'key' into the TV screen on the kiosk and you got pulled into a new dimension. The thing is - you never moved locations - you just turned up in exactly the same place - just in a different time and society.

I woke up just before the milkman came to take us into a meeting with the Time Police...........

    I promise - I have been Clean and Sober for 8 years.....PROMISE!!!!
