It's really easy to do.Before you go off to smoke, eat,or do whatever. Please!!!! Make sure you know when it's your trun to dance. You will miss your trun, then you will get mad a try to cuss out the boss. This is not a smart move ladies.Lets get it together.

I had this problem a few times. I'd be in the dressing room touching up my hair or makeup, girls would be gabbing around me, the DJ would announce who would be up after the last song on the set, and about 2 girls would get pissed at me for not opening the door to hear the DJ since I was closest to the door. Uh. Not my fault you were gossiping and hanging out instead of working and didn't hear your name.

I always keep track of who I'm dancing after, and on nights with long rotations, I'll make sure to remember the names of the two girls before me. Never been late to stage.

Yeah. Not to mention it looks incredibly unprofessional.

You know what else is annoying (in this same vein...)? ... when I am doing a private lap dance, and the DJ isn't paying attention and calls my name to stage and then I look like I'm really late because he calls and calls and I never come. Sigh.

Really? Not just the dancers, but all of us are grown ups. Time to be responsible!

I especially hated when I had to stay on stage until the next girl showed up. I'd be literally standing there waiting, the DJ is calling her and she's no where to be found. Then if I say "fuck it" and leave the stage, I'M the one who is getting bitched at.
I can honestly say, I have never missed stage either.

We dont have a Dj and that makes it worst. So we have to wait, until the girl who is missing to put music in. It's the worst

^The good thing is the boss is aware of it. The bad thing is no action has been taken as far as what I'm aware of. The other bad thing is I have to work with the girls in question this evening which makes for the headache starting to form in my head.

The best thing ever about the clubs in SF was that they used to have a walkie-talkie system so the lap dance counter guy could let the DJ know when dancers where giving dances so they weren't called to stage. I really think every club should implement that. If I have one big pet peeve about the way most clubs are run it's being called to the stage when I am busy making money on private dances.

That would be ideal ^. Sin and I work at a very small dive so we don't have the full ammenities of a normal gentleman's club.

Man, if only that were the case in the clubs-Dance counters/trackers/bouncers + DJ all communicating! That would rock

At this last place that I'm not going back to for a long while, we would get fined $50 for missing our stage. Even if you are doing a string of LD's ,you have to go on stage. They would only skip for CR's. So .... the fine provided excellent motivation to make sure your ass was up there. They are evil at that place. Yuck.

Ugh I hate this. At my club we must remain on stage until the next girl comes up. So what usually happens is I'm standing there tryna keep the party going to music that is way outside of my normal stuff waiting for some girl who can't get it together.

We have that too! Imagine that our DJ is unprofessional enough to not call our names ANYWAY. Big sigh.

This happens to me ALL the time! I'll be giving a ld in the back and while I'm already REALLY into the dance I hear,

"EDEN TO THE DJ BOOTH!" or "EDEN STAND BY"

After the second time the floater finally goes to the dj to tell him I'm in the back.
    Smh.

So I agree, it could go both ways.
