Default Fat Burn Zone VS Cardio Zone

I see this on every single cardio machine at the gym. Fat Burning Zone and Cardiovascular zone. The Cardio Zone is at a higher heart rate than the Fat Burn.

I've read that Cardio burns 40% of fat from calories, and it burns more muscle cells than fat cells, and that fat burn burns off 50% of fat calories

What are your girls' opinions on Cardio VS Fat burn zones? Should I push for the Cardio zone every time or stay in the upper end of the Fat burning zone?

im not sure specifically about the zones... but the most effective method of fat burning for me has always been high intensity interval training. you can do it on the machines... basiclaly you go all out then go a bit easy then all out etc etc... usually intervals are either 6s,9s or 15s 15s or 30s 30s etc etc. Will im sure can say a lot more on the subject. but personally this has hands down been the most effective way for me. it jacks up your metabolism a lot more.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

Don't even worry about that, what you need to do is go out and buy a heart rate monitor (the ones on the treadmill are EXTREMELY inaccurate) and google "target heart rate formula" You can then type in your height, weight, age, etc. and it will tell you where your heart rate needs to be to burn fat. Then you can keep it in this zone (or higher) by watching your heart rate monitor. Keep in mind, you need to be doing at least 45 minutes of consecutive cardio AT LEAST to gain a fat loss benefit. You have to deplete you glycogen stores before you start burning stored fat, and this takes endurance and time.

What is prefer to do is get on the treadmill, put the incline up to 7, and alternate between 7 and 15 (the max incline) at a pace of 3.3 to 6.0. So, I will jog or run fast when the incline is at 7 and when I feel like my heart is in my throat, I put the incline all the way up to 15 and power walk at a speed of 3.3. I alternate this every few minutes for about an hour once or twice a week. Also, when I do this, I wear leggings, long pants, a waist wrap, a t shirt with a long sleeve sweater hoodie over it so I sweat A LOT. I feel like this really helps.

You can say that again.. not just on here but men in general. Guys are so damn lame, the only way they can halfway make up for it is by opening their wallets.

It cant be this easy surely? Say an unfit person types in all the above, thier target heart rate would be different to a fit persons?
Juat realised I should probably check this out before asking as there are probably questions about activities and fitness, right?
