Default Rules of sitting on a customer

I was wondering what general rules are for how to sit on a customers lap. I want to straddle them to get them to buy a dance from me cuz i think with my lean body it looks so good on top of them but i sit sideways. Should i just do it or is that unprofessional at a club

I dont like sitting on customers laps, and dont. Unless I am def comfy with them while I am talking and I cannot hear them due to the music.

I usually approach them and ask if I could join them, pull up a chair and face my body towards them. If there is no chairs around me, I usually talk for 2-3 mins while leaning over while checking if there is an avaiable spot around or then decide if I want to sit on them, only if I feel it is going anywhere. Usually ask if the customer if they're ok with you sitting on their lap, some guys are ok, some guys freak out.

Don't "assume the position". While some guys like this, there are a large number who don't appreciate it & will be totally turned off by it.

It works for this chick who work with me ALL THE TIME. Like champagne rooms...I say if it feels right go for it. I work at an upscale club also,so I don't think its a prob maybe you can start from the side, butter him up,then straddle

Is your club ok with it? It's illegal and/or against the rules in any club I've ever worked for.

And in the club I worked for that it was illegal but the club didn't care--men tend to get very comfortable with you sitting there for free. It might take a while to learn how to hustle your way from their lap to the LD couches.

Or perhaps the dances are done right there in their chair and she's already straddling him so it takes about two seconds for it to turn into a LD. There just isn't enough information so either case could be true. This question can't really be answered without her telling us a bit about the club.

'its a deja vu' is not enough info.

if its a wanna dance club or a club where the dances are done in the chairs, as laurcon said, then its an effective move. but to just chill in that position for a long time without pay in public is not helping anyone. i dont even sit in laps... but if its a wanna dance club i will kinda be climbing into their lap while saying in my sexy voice how badly i need to get naked. it has a very high success rate .

also in a slow hustle upscale club i would be pissed if other girls were doing this.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

What reason other than being in the VIP should a dancer be sitting on a guys lap?

Exactly. It's fairly common where I work, but I never do it. It's pretty much like giving away free dances. No contact until I get the $$$.

Right! I've worked in clubs whre some chicks used that for their hustle. I just can't bring myself to sit in random laps especially when they haven't made any commitment to pay me. Imagine that when you do sit on his lap, it gives him the idea to get touchy. Imagine him touching you for 10mins, up your skirt, or he keeps playing with your hair or something. **eew, chills**

10mins later you ask for a dance and he says no?? he just copped a feel for free and everyone in the club saw that you are cheap and free, so they will invite you to sit on their lap too. I wouldn't recommend it since it looks bad and it invites them to get your time and your body for FREE.

Selling dances is not that hard when you learn how to hustle and when you know how to do it, you can let those other lap girls show you who the cheap guys are since they will be giving free attention to the cheap ones who aren't paying for it. Every once in a while the odd customer will get dances, but the chances were that he was planning on spending that money anyway, so why work harder than you have to. Sitting in a lap is hard to do, between fighting off their hands and keeping your balance, too.

You'll get better customers by giving them a little space, and by using your personality and style to hustle. Never give them more than its worth, and you'll be happy.

even in the vip i would give them their space and not sit on laps. (but, that's just my style)

ALSO the best way to hustle is to have their eye contact. When you are in their lap you can't be eye to eye. He can't see the front of your body. Your body language can't be used in the right way. So it limits your options.

The chicks that I have seen who sit in laps are mostly extras girls, and they might grab a man's pants while they are sitting there. Unless you are comfortable with grabbing body parts or you don't mind being manhandled......for the same amount that you would have gotten for just asking for a dance.

    I would say NO!

You should be getting PAID to straddle them!

Why would a guy BUY a dance from you if you are already in his lap, straddling him?

I will also add that I used to work at a large club that had customers from all over the world and it was an unwritten rule by the dancers that no body sat on laps.

There was a flood of new dancers and girls from other clubs that continually sat on laps and got turned down for dances all the time.

It completely ruined the money and all the hard work the dancers did to keep everyone on the same page.

I'm back at a club where there is no sitting on laps.

So btw, sitting in a guy's lap and having him touching you up your skirt/ playing with your hair are two totally different things. We sit on guys laps all the time at my club and they barely touch us. That shit would never fly, maybe the hair if he was spending money.

Like tonight I sat in a guy's lap about 5min after meeting him, while waiting for my drink. He didn't really touch me, but I def was breathing on his neck, trying to get him smelling me and my pheromones up close. This guy then spent 4k in the room, so it was worth it to me. Even if I did that to three guys who didn't, still would be worth it for the one. I just knew once I got in his lap I closed the deal, and that happens often. That I close the deal

It really depends on the club atmosphere and how respectful the clients are. If a new girl came into my club and couldn't sit on a lap for possibly free ever, she'd have probs.

the only time I straddle a guy is on stage if he's the only cusomer sitting there but I keep my butt on the stage. we're not allowed to get off stage during our stage show but if I want to talk to him and get him interested I'll put my legs up on his shoulders. usually not with older me though. young guys tend to like it more.

I work at two clubs: one where we can sit on laps (it's table dances, but no straddling allowed ever, including during dances), and one where we can't (but we can straddle them during dances as long as our crotch doesn't touch theirs). In the first club sitting on their lap is a good idea if there are no chairs and you have a good feeling about the customer. It's definitely a talk-hustle club, so a lot of the time you close sales by chatting for a few songs. The second club is also talk-hustle until it gets busy.

Either way, though, I would NOT straddle the customer if I were you. It's giving them a free dance, and we're there to earn money, not dance for free.

Let's say you're walking around looking for a customer and one looks at you and says, "Come and sit on my lap".

How do you reply to that?
"You got the money?" sounds a little too direct.

I think it depends on the club/area. I've worked at clubs where it was expected to sit in the guys lap, but like lauracon said, that doesn't have to mean that he's touching you anywhere.
I've also been to clubs where that wouldn't be a good idea to sit in the guys lap without getting paid, either due to club rules, city laws, or the high amount of cheap grabby guys.

At my club it's kinda hard to close a sale without sitting in the guy's lap. The seats line the perimeter of the room and don't move, and the arms of the chairs separate you if you were to sit next to them. It's quicker for me to get a dance if I'm able to position my chest in front of their face and whisper in their ear...there's no way out for him! Lol. I feel like it's easier for the guy to resist if you're just sitting next them, there's no sense of urgency.

This saddens me. I've NEVER sat on a customers lap and never would. Why? So he can cop a free feel? Hell no! I understand some clubs have lap dances but even so I wouldn't sit on a lap until he paid.

^^^ Yep. I think I already said this in this thread, but no way am I giving out free samples.
It's bad enough out there, with young guys especially, thinking that they can touch us for free on the floor. I love the guys that try to get you to sit on their lap before they'll buy a dance. I tell them to fuck themselves and keep on walking. Let another girl fight away their grabby hands for $20.
