Sooo I want to learn to speak fluent Spanish. I don't want to buy Rosetta Stone becaue it's entirely tooooo much money. I was wondering if anybody knew of anything else that actually works out there?

Funny this should come up. They are advertising a new one on UK television at this very time. I'll keep my eyes open and find out what it's called for you.

Get the tapes and use them in the car. As you learn things , always THINK to yourself the sentence in your day to day interactions in spanish before you SAY it in English. Take the time to think how you'd manage with the spanish you have ( pretend as if you HAD to use Spanish as you are standing in line with your groceries for example ) . Talk to yourself out loud in Spanish when you can ( point stuff out to yourself as you drive/wait in lines/ do day to day stuff ) . You have to do this repeatedly to get the hang of it. I speak Spanish like a native 2-3 year old, but enough to hustle in clubs with a Mexican client base ( since I'm white and blond, they are impressed that I even put forth the effort and it often pays off ) .
There are some guides on this site with Spanish hustle phrases to use in the clubs.

Hey! I just got one called collins Language Revolution , im gonna let u know how it goes.

rod said to go to homedepot and get a drywall crew LOL...seriously though rosetta stone supposedly works wonders

I've heard good things about Pimsleur. Anyone I know who has had the opportunity to use both Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur, has preferred the latter.

Pimsleur is an amazing program. You can buy just the intro course and see how you like it.

Once you can speak or write somewhat you can trade lessons with foreigners. English is in the highest demand.

My spanish teacher recommended trying lessons at the bbc website.
I liked flashcards for the vocabulary and conjugation rules part.
In my mind nothing takes as much discipline as learning a language.

Just bootleg the damn thing! I just got it for free for gothicalien off of pirate bay! I wouldn't pay for it either! He's learning the obscenities quite rapidly, thanks to me and bad infomercials for the slapchop and shamwow in Spanish.

www.livemocha.com is a great website. It has LOADS of languages to choose from.
Itunes has a lot of language learning lessons called podcasts that you can listen to for free. I've done many of these lessons and like them a lot: http://spanishpod.com/lessons/feed
A little birdy told me that Pimsleur lessons for Spanish I, II, and III are (or at least used to be) uploaded on piratebay.org as torrent files that you can download for free (illegally). All you need is a torrent program on your computer, like "u torrent". They are really good lessons, but I have never done Rosetta Stone to compare. I think Pimsleur lets you do their first lesson free on their website, so you could see if you like them or not.
