oKAY LADIES!!!! WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU GUYS DO ON YOUR SLOW NIGHTS. ME IF IM NOT LEARNING NEW TRICKS ON THE BACK STAGE IM JUST SITTING THERE UNTIL SOMEONE SHOWS UP,OR IM WATCHING T.V.,PLAYING POOL OR WHATEVER. I KNOW TIMES ARE HARD ,BUT EVEN IF WE GET A CUSTOMER SOMEONE OF THEM WONT TIP.
SO WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU DO TO PASS THE TIME? AND WHEN U DO GET A CUSTOMER IN ,DO U RUSH HIM OR GIVE HIM SOME TIME ???

Wow. Those caps. Hard to read.

I read my book and practice polework. I treat customers who come in as I would any customer that came in on a busy day.

Text on my phone until a client comes into the door if I'm not dancing.

I usually go chat with the bartender/waitstaff. If I have a book I'll read it. Sitting at the bar is typically good though because when the lone customer comes in you can signal them over with the "come hither" look & finger motion, & pat the seat of the chair next to you so they know to sit down. It gives them someone to talk to right away without feeling like they've been pounced on... rather you invited them over.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I build rapport! Especially with my vip hosts and dj. Or I'll practice pole tricks.

Always bring a book or HW. You could always make the book educational, so you're not "wasting time" when you're reading it while it's slow.

The bar usually has newspapers lying around, so I'll flip through them and zero in on the crosswords. I've brought books, but I like to look away from the book to see if any customers have walked in, and that ends up getting too distracting and I reread the same sentence over and over.
