    Question Let the Boobs begin...

because we dont have enough boob threads on here .

so i have reviewed my finances and i have officially decided that i am determined to get my boobs by the winter. This is probably going to be the first of many threads about boobs, so be prepared ladies.

So my question for you: Up until recently i was always under the impression that new boobs looked weird for a while. But recently i worked with a girl who just got hers done a month ago and hers look amazing.

So, in your personal experience: how long after the surgery before your boobs looked like they were supposed to? And what kind of boobs were they (under the muscle or over or partial, silicon (i at least know im getting this over saline) or saline, what size were you before and how big did you go after?

And how long did you take off work? how long before you were able to do activities that strained the arms? how long before you felt normal again?

answers would be appreciated. i am especially interested in how long before they looked good, because although i can get how long they take to heal off of google, i would like to hear about how long before they looked normal from people who personally have gone through the procedure. thanks!
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

I was an a-cup and got saline unders. I was in a LOT of pain for the first week, manageable but still incapacitating pain for the next week, still couldn't drive after three weeks....it sucked. And they looked like alien tits for a month, after 6 months they dropped a lot. Over the muscles have a way quicker healing time(since slicing the muscle up is what causes the swelling and severe pain). And no alien tits from what I hear. I have a few friends with overs. Also I worked in a peepshow when I had mine done, I went back to work after a month. If I was working at a strip club I would have waited longer.

My salines ripple a lot. You sure you want them?

Oh whoops I meant silicone! I want silicone. Wow I'm out of it. I'm unsure whether I want over or under the muscle though.

Yay! Boobies! K so Im on week 3 recovery and let me tell you my recovery has not been easy! I seriously could hardly move the first week! Im doing better now. Back at uni and can finally get out and about more but still very uncomfortable. To answer your questions....

I got 350cc silicone High profile cohesive gels. My incision is in the crease. With co-gels they need to make bigger incisions because they are pre-filed but my doctor is amazing and actually managed to make them half the size all the others promised me (although one had a bit of trauma and is not healing as well).

I got dual plane placement. The doc dissects just the top portion of the pec so the top half of my implant in under and the bottom over. This is to get more of a tear-drop look.

Mine did not look freakish but I was definitely shocked at first. They were really swollen and still a bit swollen. I wasnt used to seeing myself with boobs and was scared they were too big. Im used to them now though and I think the size is perfect. They did drop and the left is pretty much in its new home Id say, but right is marginally behind (really only I can notice). Im a perfectionist though and theres no way I would be showing mine off yet. They are still swelling at times and the skin on the bottom is still stretching.

Im taking it very easy. My PS advised me to because my rib cage is tiny and he said the implants were a big squeeze and my one pesky incision. I pretty much never lift my arms above my head and I wont until the 6 week mark. I dont lift anything over 10lbs.

I plan on going back to work around week 7 or 8. My biggest thing is I want them to be totally settled so I dont fuck them up. I also want them to look perfect. The get softer and prettier everyday but I am impatient too.

Im taking a progress photo tonight. If you want I can send you some of my progress photos... just PM me. xx

I CAN tell you that 're-do's are far less physically traumatic than first time BA's ... for the obvious reason that a breast pocket does not need to be (re)created. I may be atypical, but my 're-do's' got to the point where I was up and doing stuff the day after my redo surgery ( with a few regular tylenols for pain management ) and dancing again within three weeks ( waiting for incisions to heal ).

As to obtaining a 'natural' look, with a 're-do' this usually occurs faster as well. The only major exceptions would be if you were switching implant 'placement' i.e going from overs to unders, or if you were switching incision type i.e. going from crease to nipple ( which often happens to tighten up the breast skin if the girl doesn't want significantly larger implants put in during the re-do to provide skin stretching ). But if you are going with the same incision, the same type of implant placement, and are willing to go ~250-300cc larger implants to tighten up the breast skin again without resorting to tissue removal, odds are that besides the stitches and the obvious restrictions to avoid ripping them out that you will 'feel like your old self again' within a few days.

i had my boobs done a little over 2 months ago. They started to look great after one month but a bit too bit still, and now they are the size i want them to be. they are very soft and natural feeling and looking now too. but the reason why healing sped up was because i have been doing 1 hour of compressions and breast massaging every day per doctor's orders to prevent capsular contracture (you know, the condition where scar tissue forms around the breast implant causing the implant to go hard and making the boobs look all hard and unnatural). it seems as if 90% of the girls in my club are not massaging their breasts enough or something because their boobs look hard and unatural.

also i got cohesive gel 300 cc implants unders, aka gummy bears. i am the only one in my club who has gummy bears cuz they are not avail in the usa, unless they go get em thru the clinical trials. i got mine in thailand and cohesive gels are available there.

after one week i was exercising and getting intimate.

but anyways basically the bottom line is that if you want them to look great sooner then compress those babies every day! my doctor wanted me to compress them against the wall but i've devised an even better method of compressing them, i lay 2 flat 10 lb weights (total of 20 lbs) on my chest while i go on my laptop (on a beddesk)... i do this for one hour a day. the boobs are very soft now and i'm very happy with them. it is hard work and to be honest i would have stuck with my old smaller boobs if i knew it took this much work to get them pretty. oh well, i can't remove them now, but i do like em. i guess i have a love hate relationship with them.

I'm getting my implants done in Bangkok in June, may I ask who your doctor was and which hospital you stayed in? Would love to hear about your experience

Melonie, I'm wanting to have all my natural breast tissue removed (all the women in my family die of breast cancer), and go down from a large DD-DDD to a B or so. I know the lasers now make the scarring almost invisible, but what do you know about this? My nipples are huge and most of the size difference could be corrected by downsizing them (they are literally more than 3 inches in diameter and I'd like an inch or less). Recovery is what I'm most worried about (well, that and expense). I am very physically fit and the muscle spasms around my back/ribcage almost killed me the first time around (although I'd assume, with no muscle stretching this would be less).

I like how my boobs looked around day 20ish, but looking back they werent as natural as they could have been. I really wanted the natural slope on the top of the breast and it wasnt achieved till month 2. My boobs did look good around day 20, and I could have worked but I wasnt fully comfy and wasnt allowed to take the scar strips off yet.

I got silicone, I wanted silicone. My PS said, I needed silicone over saline for the most natural look, and for my skin type. My skin is tight and I didnt have much body fat, that PS said silicone would look better and get that "slope" I wanted. I got under the muscle - full. Better for less sag, and better for ladies who dont have much to start off with. There are pros and cons for both, under or overs, but it depends what you are going for. I went with 325 mod plus silicone. My PS said to try on every implant with clothes over, the look I like, they would add 25ccs to achieve that look I liked. (25ccs+ since the body will hide some). I liked the 300 mod plus look, so 325 it was. I went from brely 32A (28" ricbage) to 32DD bra size. Let me know if you want to see my pictures, I took progressed my post-op for 3 months.

I felt normal at 2 weeks, at day 12 at most. From day 1, I had no trouble using the bathroom, taking my pants off, getting out of bed (stomach muscles help a lot for this!), eating, or opening my pill bottles/water bottles. What I DID have trouble with for 2 weeks, was opening doors (if if they were push doors I used my back), carrying my purse for the full week (light purse), showering was hard, I couldnt light my hands above my neck (dry shampoo!). Every person will be different - but at week 2 I felt I could do normal things, open doors, WALK NORMALLY (not slow anymore - no running still), reach for plates, shower etc.

I was not allowed to do any work out at all for 6 weeks. At 6 weeks the strips on the scars come off (just sticky tape). Was allowed to bath then too (was not allowed to get the tape fully wet before). At 6 weeks, I could only work my lower body. At 2 months, my PS still suggested not to start strength work outs on my arms, was allowed to flap them around though ahha. At 3 months, he said OK to harder stuff (weights etc). But I havnt, it still feels akward at times when I tense my chest muscle I feel the muscle tightening the implant (im at 5 months now). I would not be able to work at a month... at 2 months, I could have been but was not comfy with customers touching my boobs (high contact club). And I felt weird touching them. I went back to work at 3 months, and was still very careful. My scars still get raised up when my boobs get irrated. If my club were air dances and no touching, I would have went back at a month (if incision was full healed).
