Sorry I missed church. I was too busy practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian.

What would you like to know? I've worked for an agency then myself. First off, always get the money upfront. Second, get a good bouncer. Third (assuming you are a clean dancer) tell the guys upfront you don't do extras. Also, look into games. I do feed the kitty (though I wear a thong and grab the money with my thighs. I have very strong thighs), whipped cream shots, various raffles (mostly for things like a free shot or a private dance), private dances, etc.

Get cards out to everyone you can think of who is related to the industry: limo companies, naughty cake bakers, party planners etc.
Kellydancer is right that you need to look into games to do to keep the crowd going.
Also, check to see if you need a license where you are at & if your bouncer is required to be licensed or have a "guard card".
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

uhm dont do it. stay independent.
how do you guys find your customers?

I have my website. I also book off of some party planning sites, some have ads for bachelor parties, I also network with the valets and txi drivers in Vegas who get a commission for anyone they send to me. I have one casino valet call me at least once a week.
You can also put out ads on backpage but dont do it without having an email and phone number just for your party business.
Also like Kylea said check about licensing and also make sure you have a good bodyguard. If you need to know what agencies are charging get some guy friends to call about booking and go under the average price by 10% and youll undercut your competitor.

ONE HOUR COST! ! !
$200 for one girl, the bouncer gets $50 from that set fee. It is $50 more dollars if it is more then 30 miles from the office, and $100 if over 3 hours from office. $50 more if a mobile stage pole is wanted. it is $50 for and extra 1/2 hour for one paid before dances will start.
Games and cost

at a bikini bar. This company is not and escort service and girl will not be asked to be one.
At any time the dancers or bouncer feels it is getting out of control they will pack up and leave
Remember to have fun but be respectful of our girls. Have a good time and get her a drink!
This is a copy from the company I work for, I like partys way more then clubs. Just you, may be two girls, and the money is better in a short amout of time.
That's funny you mention the lollipop. That's how I got nickname haha

it was awkward at first but you get used to it. and the money. it's REEEEEEALLY good money. from what i hear about clubs in my area, an average 12 hour shift is what i make in an hour and a half of a 1.5 hr party. you become "desensitized" to the toy shows, whipped cream shots, etc. it's just part of the job. i don't think anything of it. all i see is dollar signs. LOL.
but it's all about your comfort level... do ONLY what you are comfortable doing... if you are uncomfortable, no matter if you work in a club or do private parties, that is what is going to hurt your money the most.
The work, like dancing in a club, is never steady. But I actually prefer private parties because you know what you're going to be making ahead of time, for a certain amount of time. Plus, tips. It's a bit scarier than a club in my opinion. It has it advantages and disadvantages. It's a little awkward at first but less pressure than 50 + eyes staring at you.
on average what is the size of a normal private party? I know it varies but about average how many? Also what is the biggest/smallest size party any of you ladies have done?

the company usually does not charge a higher house fee, its all about how far away you are from our "home" location. the only time the house fee might be higher is if we are fully booked and the people are eager to book a party. the extra charge is almost like an "inconvenience" charge for the company.
tips depend on the guys, sometimes more guys helps, sometimes it doesn't. i did a 3 guy show for a guy who just got home from the army and did reeeeally well. and i can do a 70 guy frat show and make barely anything.
depends on the guys for the most part.

I never charged for more guys either. I did charge more the farther away the show was. It really varies but I did notice it really depended on the age and other demographics of the men. Older men tended to be more generous while frat boys usually didn't tip much at all. The worst party I ever did was for a group of firefighters and cops and they were beyond nasty.

Has there ever been a time where you feared for your life? I've always works at clubs and always felt like it was more of a "controlled environment"
"Strippers are like pet tigers. They are nice to look at but they are not for everyone."
How to avoid problems is to have good communication with the client. Also, trust your instincts, if a party sounds like bad news when you talk to them on the phone, then it is best to just not do that show.
Mostly what you have to worry about is collecting payment or dealing with customers "recycling" tips.
I've been in the biz since 1998 and not a single female dancer I've worked with has been in any danger from a party she was performing at. Sometimes the bouncers are put into compromising situations, but generally the bouncer is the target of a client who would rather fight than enjoy the show.
Also, male strippers are occasionally threatened by the boyfriend/husbands of their clientele. The business is way more dangerous for male strippers than for females. In my career two male dancers ended up killing someone accidentally. One time was a fight between two male strippers, another was when a boyfriend was beating a bachelorette party guest, and the Male dancer came to the lady's defense, accidentally killing the boyfriend in the process.
If you stay professional, sober and just use good judgement, you should be fine. Dancers that end up with problems usually tried to pull a scam or got drunk or something. Most of the problems can be avoided by just staying sober and professional.

Do you girls practice your routine at home first? Do you dance the same way at the party as you would on stage? I'm nervous about the first few parties and not knowing what to do, lol! I'm sure after a few times you probably get settled into a routine and are much more confident. xoxo
A good basic routine for a bachelor party show would flow a little like this:
- Put the bachelor on the "hot seat" - a chair in the middle of the room.
- Have your driver/bouncer announce the rules you have set, such as no camera, how to tip etc.
- Start dancing for the bachelor like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbnEx_9vaKQ
- Encourage tipping and have the guests stash $$ on the bachelor's person.
- move into some light hazing, such as spanking, making the bachelor crawl on all fours and bark like a dog, ask him to dance sexy for you while you sit in the chair, etc.
The above should all take maybe 1 or 2 songs to complete. Notice you haven't removed any clothes yet? You've got to pace yourself when doing a bachelor party because you have 30-60 minutes or more of performing, and you want to keep the customers interested.
- Place the bachelor back in the chair and begin your strip tease. Keep encouraging the guests to tip through the entire strip tease.
- Definitely tease the guys with skin. Go slow, and think burlesque style tease when removing clothing. For instance, have your back to the customer while removing your bra, cover your breasts with your hands before the reveal. Make them cheer you on to get the energy moving in the room.
- Once you have stripped nude (or nearly so) begin offering party games like what lollipopkiss outlined in her post.
Games will probably last 15-20 mins, have several game ideas in mind so that you can keep the tip money flowing and keep the party exciting.
- If you offer a toy show or other specialty at parties, this is the time to do it. The bachelor is probably so drunk that it is time to focus on the guests.
- When the show begins winding down (tips are getting lower) offer private lap dances in a secluded part of the room or house. Charge the regular rate for your area per song. In Oregon it is around $20 a song.
- Finnish up with photos (if you are comfortable with pics)
- Hand out business cards to the guests and invite them to your website/myspace/facebook page/club or whatever. You may be able to get some new club regulars out of the party this way.
And that's about it. I would use whipped cream and/or other messy items in my shows such as champagne baths etc. I would ask to use the shower quickly if the location has one. If there was only limited water supply, I would keep the mess to a minimum.
Then get on the road to your next party and do it all over again. You should be able to do 3-4 parties in a single 8 hour shift. This will probably net you about $1000-2000 per shift on a busy Friday or Saturday night.
