There is no "hinting", when I was genuinely attracted/interested in a customer once (happened only ONCE ever in one whole year that I've been working as a dancer), I gave him my phone number and he called me. Simple as that. I sometimes tell customers that I am single if they ask but it doesn't mean I want to date them. I feel really uncomfortable when a customer is asking me out during a dance, I feel trapped/backed into a corner because I want him to be interested in the dance and keep spending but I don't want to date im.

^Good idea in a SC situation, where signals are going to be way more confusing than IRL and the customer will feel more awkward asking you out. And most customers know that if the stripper says no it will ruin her act.

Probably not, but generally no harm in asking. A few will get pissed, because by asking them out you're cutting off their innuendo game to suck more money out of you. Probably you'll get something like "maybe someday" or "guys who REALLY like me buy more dances / take me shopping / etc.". Or you may just get a polite refusal.
