    Default Implants & Pole tricks?

So, I loved the pole before I got my boobs and I'm determined to not become one of those girls who never gets back up there after they get their boobies done. I got mine done June 7th and they seem healed. They don't hurt or anything. It's just when I go to climb, my boobs come up in the pocket...if that makes sense ?? When is a good time to start doing pole tricks again and what should I watch out for? Thanks! I miss the poleeee. . . dancing around on stage is just NOT doing it for me.

I need to start this with a disclaimer that I don't have implants. However, I think you are testing the waters a bit too soon. I've talked to doctors about this before & they said the minimum was a 3 month healing period before a dancer should be trying to do pole work. It sounds like you are close... but not there yet. Give your body some more time to heal & check in with your doctor.

Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I think you have to be more careful with saline too. I know a poor girl who did a competition too soon and popped one side during the comp! Its sad but at the same time its like... duhhhh didnt you think it might be a bad idea to enter a pole comp shortly after getting implants.

Actually, for dancers with under the muscle implant placement and very strong pec muscles, implant 'displacement' in the breast pockets when those pec muscles are flexed can be an ongoing issue. Sometimes they get pushed 'sideways' ... sometimes they get pulled 'up' ... sometimes they get pushed 'down'. When I had under the muscle saline expanders mine would move both up and out ... which also made for an interesting stage trick after I learned how to separately flex my right and left pec muscles at will ( bongo drums anyone ?). But for my following set of implants I had them placed over the muscle to get rid of all of these 'odd-liooking' implant movements when I did certain pole or stage work.

Right, I feel them go up. They fall back down but still...it feels weird and scares me so I just don't climb any furthur. I have silicone under the muscle.

I got implants about 3 years ago and sadly there are some pole moves I still haven't done again. You may or may not be able to pull it off. My implants are 660 cc's and just feels weird when my pec muscles squeeze them, not to mention the flex boob position just is not attractive! Maybe if your implants are smaller you will be able to work around this.
