- French tourists (male and female) told to keep shirts on (bikini tops not good enough)
- Topless bathers in Italy harassed
- Spanish city telling people shirtless and wearing only a bikini fine-able offense.
Bring on the burkas!

I have French relatives and they are terrified of the Muslims taking over France. In the USA we complain about the illegals (and yes it's a problem) but at least they have the same views as we do. The Muslims taking over Europe are enforcing their views and their views are radical.

That truly truly sucks nuts.![]()
I thought France banned women from wearing burkas in public? Or was that overturned?

^ i believe that was belgium but im not 100% sure.
its weird how that law affects st tropez and cannes being huge holiday destinations.
however i can somewhat relate to that. theres a holiday place in hungary by the lake balaton and constantly older men were 'flaunting' in their speedos and gold chains like they were on a catwalk or in a bond movie staring down younger female bathers to the point where i felt uncomfortably sunbaking or stripping off to a bikini for a dip.
or could be a dress code etiquette thing like how we dont allow men in shorts or sneakers or non smart casual attire in the club because we want to keep the atmosphere more exclusive and professional and hygienic, to stop it looking like a dive club or a sports bar.
either way i dont believe it is a serious issue unless of course it is culturally reinforced by religious eg. muslim communities. that i would consider a problem.

This has nothing to do with burkas. I know a fuck ton of people in France, and western Europe and no one is scared of the Muslims except for a few small minded groups.
They just don't want shirtless people sitting around in the restaurants, strolling down the boardwalk, and walking into shops. People used to always cover up out of the beach, and topless ON the beach is fine. These cities are just reacting to tourists not having style and decorum on the streets.

^^^
That's my understanding also.
The cover up rules are to reintroduce a bit of decorum back to areas where there is no need to wander around in shorts/bikinis.
And franky, having seen too mch wobbling/aging flesh wandering around uncovered recently in Ibiza, I'm all for it.
