    Default Throwing money?

I was at a strip club not too long ago, and there was this guy (he was probably drunk) in his 20s who would wad up his money and pelt it at the girls while they were dancing. He would wait until they were bent over or had their legs spread and he would throw the money at the dancer's crotch. The guy was throwing pretty hard and actually managed to hit a couple girls right in the crotch.

What do the dancers think of this? Most of the dancers there just ignored him, and none of them really said anything to try to get him to stop. Is this a common thing from customers?

I would throw something much harder/heavier back at him and ask him how it felt. Oh and I would aim right for his crotch. A shoe might suffice.

Haha! If one of the dancers did that I would have tipped her extra.

I regret not saying anything, to him or to someone who worked there. It was the first time I had seen a customer do that, and seeing the girls there ignore him made me wonder if it's not considered a big deal.

If she were smart she would have played "cooter ball" with the guy. To play customers wad up paper money, & the dancer either holds a cup at her crotch or makes a football symbol with her hands, for the customers to throw the money into. Some dancers don't give out a prize, but others do. Its a common game played by feature dancers to give incentive for the customers to tip more while having fun.

I always tell them to aim for their favorite body part. Like Kylea said, it's a good way to get/keep customers tipping. If I got embarrassed or felt degraded easily, I wouldn't have become a stripper.

I DON'T like money hitting my crotch with my thong off, though. That's just unsanitary. I wouldn't ask him to stop, though, as that might stop him from tipping. I'd just move at the right moments to avoid the dollars hitting or cover up the area while he was throwing.

I'd be pissed and yell at them. I quit a club largely because it was standard to throw money at the strippers and I found being a human target particularly degrading. One time a customer came in to the other club where it was not standard and did it, I flipped my shit at him and thru the dollar back and hit him square in the face. Idiot didn't try it again.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

Well being in such a bad area for strip clubs..I'm just happy if the guys are actually tipping at this point. Although if someone threw a dollar directly at my uncovered crotch I would be pretty fucking annoyed!

i think its disrespectful. i think, "really, you couldnt walk the 5ft to the stage?". plus if it lands near the pole and i trip on it while spinning around then you will see a homicidal stripper.

That's just something the younger guys think is cool. For me, I just go up to the stage and tip the dancer 5 - 10 bucks and ask her if she's available for table dances or VIP after she's done on stage.

I'm with Bigmarv on this. Place your tip on the stage or hand it to the dancer. Throwing stuff - even money - in my mind is disrespectful. And just wait until somebody loses an eye...

I had a dumbass friend that crumpled a dollar bill around a quarter and hurled it at a dancer from about 25 feet away. He tossed it before I could stop him. It hit the dancer in the eye, and she freaked out, just as anyone would if they had gotten hit in the eye with a projectile. My friend was very apologetic afterward, and thankfully she was OK. But it could have been really bad if it had scratched her cornea or something.

    Sheesh.

    I gotta find better friends

Besides him being drunk & stupid, I think that part of it was seeing if he could actually reach the stage with his throw, and also testing his accuracy and aim. Showing off was a big part of it, too, of course - as if blinding the dancer was going to impress anybody. Pffft. What a chowderhead!

I would seductively beckon him to come closer, then as he got closer, I would lean over, swiftly pull his belt off and pelt that shit right across his crotch.

Do Not Throw Money On the Stage!!!

This is in poor taste. It's rude and degrading. If you pelt a dollar bill at a girl on stage it will get you thrown out at my club.

Making it rain on girls on stage, however, is tolerated. Each club is different and a lot of it depends on the girl.

There is one club in NJ and one in MA where this is common. In both clubs there is no tip walk per se and the stage is behind the bar. To get a tip, either she needs to lean out off of the stage while he leans over the bar, or he simply throws the tip onto the stage. Most guys end up just throwing it.

Not saying it is right or that guys should not be respectful, just stating the situation. IMO, however, the guys were motiviated to tip more frequently when it was a simple toss onto the stage rather than a "walk up to the stage" type of production.

Yeah, making it rain is cool (as long as it's raining and not drizzling!! LOL) but crumpled money is really tacky.

Speaking of which, I love how some guys talk about 'makin' it rain' then throw 2$ on the stage lol.

Or even $20 in one dollar bills.... that's a sprinkle - not rain!

Omg, this just happened to me last night.
At first, I'd play "basketball" with it...let them try to throw it into my panties. Try to have some fun with the situation.
Then it got outta hand. They were literally launching and TRYING to throw like they were in baseball or something. (not the mention throwing wet paper towels...fucking drunk ass douche [email protected]!!!)
I ended up not getting naked, and getting off stage. I mean, I made good money from the set, but it just ended up being embarrassing, and rude.

Took everything in me to not lash out in the end.

GS? Really, that place is still open?

That was going to be my first club, before I found out what parking in Chinatown was going to cost me everyday.

    Oops, sorry /threadjack

    It is alive and well.

I won't pretend to know what it is like from a dancer's prespective at GS, but Boston has a lot of money and there are only two clubs. In GS dancer drinks are $30 per pop, though I forget how much of that goes to the girl. Rarely did I see a decent girl take less than $20-25 off of a stage set.

The girls I got to know at GS over the years always seemed to do well, but again I am looking at it as a customer and not a dancer.

Anyway, to get it back on point, money throwing is common at the Slipper but rarely do I see anyone aiming for the girl. Also, I suspect the girls aren't complaining too much with the amount of crumpled ones they tend to sweep up after each set.

I think it depends on the situation. These situations include-

    1) "Raining". Keep that shit pouring all day!
    2) "Drizzling". Give me the money and get the fuck away from my stage, PL.
    3) Distance. If they just can't make it to the stage, I wouldn't mind.
    4) Games. Coochie ball is fun and a good way to make tips!
    5) Douchery. You like to throw one dollar bills? I like to throw seven inch heels.
Exotic dancing is like any other job.
If you work in an office, you wear dress shoes and a suit.
If you work in a restaraunt, you wear skid resistant shoes and a uniform.
If you work in a strip club, you wear 7" stilettos and lycra g-strings.
