    Default how to build confidence

Sooo today was my 3rd day. And lemme just say it was a bad day. I left owing the club. :/ I cried in the dressin room. Man that mess is embarrassing. I got no dances today. I asked everybody and they said no. They ether wanted the white girls or they had a specific dancer they wanted.

That happens. It sucks, but it happens to everyone.
Monday, I had to pay outta my own pocket. Not one dance, no one was tipping.
However, yesterday, I COMPLETELY made up for that night.

For every bad night, there's a good night.
I know it's hard to get over it, but you just kinda have to.

Do you work in mainly a "regular's club"?

Yea girl. And it sucks!!! Everyone in there is there to see 1 specific dancer that they have been seeing for like the past 5 years or something. And yea you're right. But I'm thinking about finding another club.

Yeah, it's sometimes hard to establish yourself when everyone is already "taken".
That's exactly how my last club was.
Then again, I've been the girl who was the "main girl" at a regular club.
I always tried to make the new girls feel welcomed and introduced them to everyone.

Maybe the weekend will be better? More people going out. More new faces.

It happens to everyone sweetheart. I'm sure someone will just adore you and give you his or her or thier paycheck soon. I personally think you are beautiful and normally have a thing for alt girls so hey.

I have been dancing in Vegas now for 6 years and am always on my game and had two nights a few weeks ago where I owed house fee so don't let it get to you. Its slow season babe.

Someone on this site once said that going to work in a strip club is like buying a lottery ticket. Sometimes you lose, but when you win, you can win big!

Obviously it's not quite like the lottery since there's a lot that you can do to ensure that your ticket is a winner (like looking hot, cultivating awesome sales skills, and hustling like a pro), but no one wins every night.

It's all part of the gamble of being a stripper. You can go work a normal job and reliably make $10 an hour, or you can be a stripper, in which your 'hourly' pay can be many multiples higher than that, or nothing at all.

Aw... I remember when I first started dancing (seems like a million yrs ago now) but so much of what people would say or do used to get to me... sometimes I'd cry the whole way home. Eventually I toughened up tho and if you're gonna last any length of time in this buisness you're gonna have to learn to suck it up and roll with the punches. People can sence when ur upset, vulnerable, angry, depressed, ect... no matter how well you think your hiding it... the true art of dancing is acting... my suggestion... go to your happy place and live in a bubble... you're there for the $$ not anyones approval of you. and as far as everyone being "taken" guys change their minds and switch girls all the time... trick is to smile throught hte bad days so you leave good impressions on people who could be potential future regulars...

Confidence is built up through experience, the more you get rewarded for doing something right the more confident you feel when you attempt to do it again.

I go through these steps to get into the SuperStripper Zone every night before I go to work.

Mentally preparing yourself for a night of work versus just showing up and hoping someone likes you will make a HUGE difference in your profits.
