    Default Dancing in Perth

I've heard mixed reviews for both The Doll House and the Voodoo Lounge - has anyone here got experience with either of these clubs?

I'm not a very skillful pole dancer, I'm more a floor or lap girl, so somewhere that isn't expecting me to be a pole-master is more my style atm.

I wouldnt bother with the Doll House, I worked at Xotica on William Str for over a year, its changed a bit now but its still the better club of the three in Perth. You can also work for their agency doing dance shows in pubs as well as private parties and skimpy bar tending in pubs around Perth. Good luck, I wish I was still dancing in Australia its much better to work there than in London!

I love voodoo lounge I'm going back next week.
Girls are great, you have lots of freedom to wear whatever you want and they hold heaps of fun events... also everyone earns good money there! There are a huge mix of girls there lots of Aussies and foreigners of all shapes and sizes :3 I think its the best in WA by a long shot!!!

And as far as pole moves.... half the girls are amazing and do heaps of tricks and half the girls barely touch the pole.... I cant do much on the pole and I still get quite a lot of money on stage! Its more about your personality showing through on stage not your moves

Thanks for the advice girls. I've got a shift at Dollhouse next week which I'll go to just to try my luck and get back into it. I'm just nervous because I've seen the standard of girls at Voodoo and I'm not quite at that level yet so I may just work DH to get my confidence up and possibly a move on the pole before switching

I work with a few girls who also work at Voodoo and they are THE nicest girls. I think I'll work a month or so at DH, then I should see you there!

Yeh its a bit intimidating starting out there! I'd never stripped or anything in my life and all the other girls had been doing it for years but its easy to get the hang of when you start!
So if you do end up at voodoo my name is Cherry

    I'm Celeste

I've worked with Tristan from Voodoo before. She's just such a beautiful person, she took me under her wing and taught me a few dance moves and how to take rejection better (which I still don't take well) and I dance with Alena in pub shifts; but they both encourage me to try Voodoo. I think I'll just get my nerves in check and get used to full nude again after 6 odd months of pub shows with stricter rules then come work Voodoo.

I'll do a week at Dollhouse and post a review

Always remember, if I guy is mean to you in the club, he's intimidated, its not you, its him. Youre not the one paying to see girls naked You always, ALWAYS have the power. Thats the whole reason why stripclubs exist, because Women Rule, because men need us, they need our acknowledgment, our company and our exquisite beauty in all shapes and sizes. If a guy is mean, move on with a smile cos he just brought you closer to a guy who isnt an idiot.
Dont worry, it takes quite a while to get the hang of stripping. Youre a sales woman. Youre there to sell them something they want, not to make friends, not to hang out, not to get laid, youre there to sell a product so dont waste time talking for ages, be happy, be flirty, be confident, sell your awesome time!

I worked in the Voodoo Lounge for a week and I liked it. If you've never danced before, you might not want to go there, because there was a girl auditioning with me and she'd never danced before. When they wanted to see her stage and pole work, she was shy and awkward and said that she doesn't know what to do. Instead of being nice to her, she got yelled at by the female dancer manager "What are you doing here then???" It seems they won't bother training amateurs, so you might want to start off somewhere else.
