1) Dancing to music you love (in which case your dancing is great)
OR
2) Dancing to music the crowd will love, but you don't like very much (in which case your dancing isn't as good)
I LOVE dancing to energetic hip-hop, but I dance in a club that has more older guys. So I feel like I should be dancing to classic rock or some bullshit, even though I hate that kind of music.
I feel like I know 'the answer' here, but I'd still love to hear your opinions!
Have you ever had to deal with this? Which approach made you more money?

and it had a knock on effect, even the people that didnt know/like the songs could see that my performance was generating attention and stopped to watch as well therefore I had a lot of interest when I came off stage. It also made me so happy to see people loving my song choice so much. Equally though I did get lucky, Ive danced to the same song before and guys havent liked it at all but I didnt care, my stage show, my time. And I dont think it really puts a guy off buying a dance just because he dislikes your song choice, if you put on a good show and he finds you hot he'll buy a dance regardless.
